摘要： A surface acoustic wave resonator includes a piezoelectric substrate having formed thereon a interdigital transducer part comprising plural electrode fingers having a period pi that is substantially equal to a wavelength of a surface acoustic wave to be excited, and at least one reflector arranged in the vicinity of the interdigital transducer part to reflect the surface acoustic wave excited by the interdigital transducer part in a direction parallel to a propagation direction of the surface acoustic wave. The interdigital transducer part has three or more electrode fingers within the period pi, and the reflector has plural gratings having a period pr that is equal to a half of a wavelength of a surface acoustic wave propagating in the reflector.

摘要： A ladder filter includes at least one series resonator connected in series between an input terminal and an output terminal, at least one parallel resonator connected in parallel with the at least one series resonator, and an inductor connected in parallel with the at least one series resonator. The at least one series resonator and the inductor generate a first attenuation pole at a frequency equal to or lower than a frequency band defined by the at least one series resonator and the at least one parallel resonator. The first attenuation pole is located at a frequency that is equal to or higher than a resonance frequency of a parallel resonator that is included in the at least one parallel resonator and has a highest resonance frequency and that is equal to or lower than a high-frequency end of the pass band.

摘要： In an acoustic wave filter, a notch resonator is connected in series or parallel with a plurality of acoustic wave resonators connected in a ladder shape. The notch resonator has a main resonant frequency that is substantially equal to a sub-resonant frequency of the acoustic wave resonators. With this configuration, the occurrence of sub-resonant responses in filter characteristics can be suppressed, resulting in an improvement in communication characteristics.

A first terminal (terminal 1), which is one of the four terminals of the hybrid is connected to the common terminal, the receiving filters are connected to a second terminal and a third terminal to which a signal is transmitted if it is input from the first terminal, and a transmitting filter is connected to a fourth terminal (terminal 4) of the hybrid. Thus, it is possible to improve the isolation of the duplexer, while avoiding an increase in the number of parts as well as greater complexity.

摘要： An acoustic wave device of the present application includes a piezoelectric substrate (14), interdigital transducer electrodes (13) formed on the piezoelectric substrate (14), and an SiO2 film (12) formed so as to cover the electrodes (13). The acoustic wave device also includes a displacement adjustment film (11) formed on the SiO2 film (12), and the displacement adjustment film (11) is formed from a substance whose acoustic velocity is slower than that of the substance forming the SiO2 film (12). According to this configuration, it is possible to suppress unnecessary waves as well as improve temperature characteristics. Also, by mounting such an acoustic wave device in a communication module or communication apparatus, it is possible to achieve an improvement in reliability.
