摘要: A weaving machine having opposite arrays of first heddles which are subjected to an alternative weft-wise movement. The weaving machine is also provided with opposite arrays of second heddles which are arranged on one side of the respective arrays of the first heddles adjacent the cloth fell. The weaving machine is operative to manufacture a multi-axial fabric constructed by a triaxial fabric including oblique warp yarns of different direction which are interwoven in weft yarns, and straight warp yarns interwoven with the weft yarns constructing the triaxial fabric. At all of the locations where the oblique warp yarns are crossed with each other, the oblique warp yarns and the weft yarns are interwoven with each other, and the straight warp yarns are interwoven with the weft yarns which are interwoven with the oblique warp yarns.

摘要: A bobbin exchange system applied to a ring spinning frame provided with a unique creel mechanism, wherein a pair of parallel rails is provided for supporting respective bobbin carriages. Each bobbin carriage is provided with two alignments of bobbin hangers, to a number which is identical to a number of spindles of each side of the ring spinning frame. When roving bobbins supported by the bobbin carriage supported by one of the above-mentioned supporting rails reach an almost exhausted condition, a roving bobbin exchange operation between full packaged roving bobbins suspended by the corresponding bobbin hangers of the other bobbin carriage supported by another supporting rail is carried out, and upon completion of the above-mentioned roving bobbin exchange operation, the first-mentioned bobbin carriage is discharged from the first-mentioned supporting rail and then a fresh bobbin carriage supporting full packaged roving bobbins is introduced into the first-mentioned supporting rail by means of a conventional bobbin carriage transporting system. The above-mentioned roving bobbin exchange operation is repeated between the above-mentioned two supporting rails without stopping the spinning operation.

摘要: A flyer frame has a first AC motor for obtaining a general rotational movement of various parts of the frame and a second AC motor for obtaining only a variable component of the rotational movement of the bobbin. An inverter is provided for operating the first and second AC motor. A controller is divided into a general section for operating the frame powered by AC power source, and a winding section for obtaining a winding control of the frame. The winding control section is operated by a DC current, which is usually supplied by an outside AC source. A DC output of the inverter is connected to the winding section via a diode or relay, which usually disconnects the DC line to the winding section and which is closed upon the occurrence of the power failure, for supplying a regenerating current from the inverter to the winding section. A desired winding control is thus maintained upon the occurrence of the power failure, until the stoppage of the frame, to prevent rovings at respective spinning positions from being broken.

摘要: In a sliver piecing operation by an apparatus for continuously supplying slivers mechanically to a roving frame, wherein a plurality of aligned sliver cans are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the roving frames in a taper arrangement with regard to the volume of sliver contained therein. Full packaged sliver cans are aligned at a standby position adjacent to and facing the aligned sliver cans which contain the smallest volume of sliver therein, and when the above-mentioned sliver cans having the smallest volume of sliver reach an almost exhausted condition, a unit sliver piecing operation of piecing a leading end portion of sliver from one of each of the full packaged sliver cans with a trailing end portion of each sliver supplied to the roving frame, created by separating same from each sliver supplying can facing thereto, is carried out in steps at all of the above-mentioned full packaged sliver cans. When the full packaged sliver cans are at the standby positions thereof, a position of an end of a sliver from each of the full packaged sliver cans is regulated to a predetermined angular position with respect to the longitudinal axis of the sliver can.

摘要: First and second slivers (6, 5) are pieced together by the following steps: overlapping a trailing portion (6a) of a first sliver and a leading portion (5a) of a second sliver; introducing the overlapped portion (5a, 6a) into a drafting zone provided between a pair of lower and upper back rollers (11, 12) and a pair of lower and upper front rollers (13, 14) arranged along a sliver path from upstream to downstream; maintaining the peripheral speeds of the back and front rollers (11, 12; 13, 14) at the same speed, so that no draft is imparted to the overlapped portion until a leading end of the overlapped portion has reached the nip zone of the front rollers (13, 14); increasing only the peripheral speed of the front rollers (13, 14) to impart a predetermined draft to the overlapped portion until a trailing end thereof has passed through a nip zone of the back rollers (11, 12), whereby a thickness of the overlapped portion becomes substantially equal to the original proper sliver thickness; laterally rubbing the drafted overlapped portion by a pair of rubbing rollers (16, 17) so that fibers therein are entangled with each other to form a connection with a sufficient mechanical strength able to withstand a force imposed during subsequent spinning processes.
