    摘要: A chuck with a chuck body having a guide opening and an actuating element, and with at least one interchangeable clamp that can be inserted into the guide opening. The clamp has associated therewith a rotary disk with a blocking element that secures the rotary disk against rotation relative to the chuck body during insertion of the clamp into the guide opening. This makes it possible that, upon a rotation of the clamp about the longitudinal axis in the guide opening, a segment can be displaced outward toward the chuck body by the rotation relative to the rotary disk, via which the clamp is detachably secured on the chuck body. A clamp with a clamp body, a pivot body located in the clamp body, and a chucking element is also provided. The clamp has, at the opposite end of the clamping element, a locking unit that carries the pivot body.

    摘要: The jaws of the chuck include a base jaw and a separate, releasable mounting jaw. These two jaw components are connected by at least one shaft which is guided with male-type screw threads in its one end in female-type screw threads of the base jaw. The other end has a lock head which has a projecting lock shoulder, and which lock head can engage in axial direction into a lock retainer in the mounting jaw, when the shaft has been rotated into the position corresponding to the unlocked condition. When the shaft has been rotated into the position which corresponds to the locked condition, it can engage with its lock shoulder in a dovetail formation in axial and positive locking manner. The shaft is further shaped with gear teeth which can operate in the manner of a pinion. In the apparatus there is also provided a control bolt extending transversely to the axis and guided and adapted to be shifted in its longitudinal direction in the base jaw. The control bolt has transversely extending gear-rack type teeth which can meshingly engage with the teeth of the associated shaft. For shifting of a control bolt there are provided control pieces on either side of a base jaw, and these are guided and moved in their longitudinal direction by means of push rods which are axially guided in the chuck base and which can be actuated from the outside of the chuck base against the force of reset springs disposed in the base. Motive power transmission is by wedge-type transmissions.

    摘要: An apparatus is provided which enables the jaws of a chuck 10 to be removed from and inserted into jaw-ways 12, 13, 14 using a conventional workpiece handler, rather than a sophisticated and highly accurate dedicated jaw handling mechanism. A conventional workpiece handler cannot position a jaw to close tolerances but this problem is overcome by using a guide shoe 17 which can receive a jaw from the workpiece handler in any one of a range of positions and then accurately guide the jaw into one of the jaw-ways 12, 13, or 14.A mechanism 16 is provided for releasing the jaws from the jaw-ways, and for re-locking the jaws in position.

    摘要: A changer device for inserting a clamping head into and/or removing the clamping head from the clamping chuck, wherein the clamping head has a plurality of clamping jaws mutually displaceable in a radial direction and which can be mutually subjected to force by the changer device toward or away from one another in the radial direction.
    The changer device has a base and a plurality of adjusting elements which are movably attached to the base and which in each case have at least one engagement portion for the application of force onto the clamping jaws.
    The changer device has a drive member which is rotatably movable about a central axis relative to the base. The drive member is coupled by a gear mechanism to the adjusting elements such that by a rotational movement of the drive member the adjusting elements can be jointly moved toward one another or away from one another.
