Abstract:
A method for wrapping a floral grouping wherein a plurality of sheets of material are connected into a pad of sheets of material. The pad has a top sheet of material with the other sheets of material being disposed under the top sheet of material. The floral grouping is placed on the top sheet of material. The top sheet of material is wrapped about a portion of the floral grouping and the top sheet of material and the floral grouping are rolled to wrap the floral grouping in the top sheet of material and simultaneously disconnect the top sheet of material from the pad. The sheets of material are secured about the floral grouping in a wrapped position by an adhesive or cohesive on the sheets of material and the sheets of material are secured in the form of the pad by the adhesive or cohesive materials on the sheet.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for covering portions of an object having an outer peripheral surface with a sheet of material having an upper surface and a lower surface with a pressure sensitive adhesive on at least a portion of the lower surface by wrapping the sheet of material about portions of the outer peripheral surface and positioning the sheet of material so that the pressure sensitive coating either contacts portions of the outer peripheral surface of the object and is bonded thereto or contacts overlapping portions of the sheet of material and is bonded to other adjacent portions of the sheet of material having the pressure sensitive coating thereon or overlapping portions of the sheet of material are bonded by the pressure sensitive adhesive and wherein the sheet of material may be constructed from paper and have an embossed pattern therein.
Abstract:
Sheets and rolls of sheets with labels having multiple choice blocks and information areas corresponding to the choice blocks. The sheets include a closure bonding material for securing the sheets around items to be wrapped. The labels are detachably connected to the sheets with an adhesive, a perforation or a tear line. Spots of closure bonding material may be placed on the labels to hold the labels in a wrapped position. The information areas typically include data which may be selected to describe the source, type and characteristics of the items to be wrapped in the sheets. The sheets may also include detachable sleeves for protecting wrapped items during shipping and handle areas which may be punched out of the sheets for grasping the wrapped items. The handle areas may also contain information similar to that on the detachable labels. Sheets having labels with choice blocks may also be used for forming flower pots or flower pot covers. By providing such labels on the unformed sheets, it is not necessary to add tags or labels after the sheets are formed into flower pots or flower pot covers.

Portions of the folds in the skirt are connected and portions of the folds in the skirt are unconnected. In one embodiment, some of the folds in the base are connected and the remaining portions of the folds in the base are unconnected.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed of attaching a gripping device to a sheet of packaging material that is to be formed into a container includes the steps of forming a hole in the sheet of packaging material, inserting an anchorage device in the hole, sealing the anchorage device to the sheet of packaging material in a liquid-tight manner and fixedly connecting a gripping device to the anchorage device.
Abstract:
Various embodiments of the invention provided a garment box comprising a bottom panel and a container portion that includes a first side wall, a second side wall, a third side wall, and a fourth side wall. In particular embodiments, the garment box further includes a walled enclosure portion contiguous to the first side wall and comprising a first fold over panel, a second fold over panel, and a third fold over panel. In particular embodiments, the first and third fold over panels include holes located proximate a mid-point of the panels and the second fold over panel includes a slot. The holes are configured to support a rod that is inserted into the walled enclosure portion. The rod is configured to support one or more heads of clothes hangers inserted through the slot and hung on the rod to secure clothes placed in the container portion for shipping.

Abstract:
A method of covering a flower pot with a floral grouping disposed therein. In the method, sheet of material with a sheet extension connected to the outer peripheral edge of the sheet of material and extending a distance therefrom is formed about the flower pot to a position wherein the sheet of material extends about substantially the entire outer peripheral surface of the flower pot to provide a decorative covering and the sheet extension is formed abut the floral grouping to a position wherein the sheet extension sxtends about a substantial portion of the floral grouping to a position wherein the sheet extension extends about a substantial portion of the floral grouping to provide a protective covering. A portion of the sheet of material is then crimped wherein the sheet is held about the pot by the crimped portion.
