    Abstract: A gear assembly (8) for mounting on a shaft (12) is described. The gear assembly (8) comprises: a gear wheel (80) configured to be rotationally supported with respect to the shaft (12) and a multiple-plate wet clutch (10). The wet clutch (10) comprises: a front part (34), a back part (42), a clutch basket attached to the gear wheel (80), and a clutch pack (20) connecting the clutch hub (16) and the clutch basket (18) and positioned between the front part (34) and the back part (42). The clutch pack (20) has: an unengaged state in which the clutch hub (16) and the clutch basket (18) are unlocked, and an engaged state in which the clutch hub (16) and the clutch basket (18) are locked together, wherein the back part (42) is spaced apart from the gear wheel (80) in the unengaged state, and the back part (42) engages the gear wheel (80) in the engaged state.

    Abstract: A multiple-disc friction clutch has a clutch center including a first and second clutch centers. The first clutch center is axially supported by a main shaft in a relatively non-rotatable manner. The second clutch center is supported by the first clutch center in a relatively rotatable manner and holds a clutching part between a pressure plate and the second clutch center. The first and second clutch centers have a torque limiter mechanism and a torque limiter-disabling mechanism therebetween. The torque limiter mechanism transmits power between the first and second clutch centers and reduces clutch torque by acting on the pressure plate due to relative rotation between the first and second clutch centers. The torque limiter-disabling mechanism inhibits operation of a torque limiter of the torque limiter mechanism by preventing the relative rotation when power is transmitted from the first clutch center to the second clutch center in an acceleration direction.

    Abstract: A clutch device includes a pressure plate movable toward or away from a clutch center, rotatable relative to the clutch center, and operable to press input-side rotating plates and output-side rotating plates. The clutch center includes an oil passage, at least a portion of which is located in an inner peripheral surface of an outer peripheral wall to guide clutch oil to a center-side fitting portion. The pressure plate includes a pressure-side recess on an outer peripheral surface of a pressure-side fitting portion, recessed radially inward from the outer peripheral surface over the entire outer peripheral surface in movement directions, and continuous with the pressure-side cam hole when seen in movement directions. The pressure-side recess communicates with the oil passage.
