    摘要: A vehicle light assembly includes a reflector having apertures formed in a circumferential wall thereof which are configured to accept light emitting diodes therethrough in an orientation generally perpendicular to the circumferential wall. The reflector includes a reflective protuberance, which is typically multi-faceted, extending upwardly from an interior surface of the reflector and generally centered with respect to the light emitting diodes. Each facet of the protuberance directs light from the light emitting diodes to an upper lens. Multiple ridges extend upwardly from the interior surface of the reflector at approximately forty-five degree angles with respect to the light emitting diodes for directing the light emitted from the light emitting diodes to the lens. The configuration of the reflector enables the use of fewer light emitting diodes.

    摘要: A motor-vehicle light comprises a hollow body with a transparent element facing a main reflective structure which reflects the light rays coming from a source arranged at one side of the main reflective structure towards the transparent element, an auxiliary reflective element being associated with the light source. The main reflective structure has a shell-like configuration, which is visible from the outside since the transparent element has no optical elements. The shell-like configuration comprises a plurality of optically active surface sectors alternated to connecting walls which are substantially radial with respect to the source. The optically active sectors are geometrically generated by translation or rotation of a family of generating curves each having undulations with a pitch substantially lower than the pitch of the distribution of the optically active surface sectors.

First and second lens groups are formed by arranging a plurality of Fresnel lenses for forming light from each of the LED light sources into parallel light fluxes with the directions of the parallel light fluxes of each LED light source group being aligned. First and second reflectors are provided for reflecting the parallel light fluxes from each of the lens groups forward of the lamp.

    摘要: An automobile reflector assembly includes a reflector having reflective protrusions extending from a reflective surface thereof, and a plurality of light emitting diodes disposed adjacent to the reflective surface. A lens is disposed over the reflector and light emitting diodes. In one form, the lens includes a plurality of domes for reflecting at least a portion of the light emitting from the light emitting diodes onto the reflector so as to disperse the light. The reflector includes a plurality of generally conical depressions underlying each lens dome and surrounding a light emitting diode. In another form, apertures are formed in a circumferential wall of the reflector so as to accept light emitting diodes therethrough in an orientation generally perpendicular to the circumferential wall. The reflector includes a central multi-faceted cone having concave depression formed in each facet, and multiple ridges for directing the light to the lens.

In an implementation, an annular wall 18A surrounding an optic axis Ax of a reflector 14 is formed on the inner lens 18 disposed between am outer lens 16 and a reflecting surface 14a of the reflector 14. The inner lens 18 is divided by the annular wall 18A into an internal zone 18B and an external zone 18C which may be different from each other in convex-concave lens shape. The internal zone 18B may be formed of a translucent lens, and a plurality of grid-type lens elements 18Cs may be formed over the entire rear surface of the external zone 18C. Thus, an observer viewing the interior of a lighting chamber from a location in front of the lamp will see that the internal zone 18B and the external zone 18C, which are divided by the annular wall 18A, are significantly different. The configuration of elements provides a vehicular lamp that is visually attractive.
