摘要： An accessory for a fastening gun includes a magazine assembly with a feed end and a discharge end and configured to support a series of staples in a pre-discharge orientation and with a feed mechanism for feeding the staples from the feed end to the discharge end. A drive member guide assembly is mounted on the magazine assembly and is configured so that a staple drive member can be mounted in the drive member guide assembly and can be driven and retracted along a predetermined path with respect to the magazine assembly, so that, when driven, the drive member can engage a staple to drive legs of the staple into respective components, the drive member guide assembly being configured for mounting on the fastening gun with the drive member connected to a piston or the like of the fastening gun.

摘要： A composite laminate reinforcing tool may be used to form a reinforced joint at a bond line of a composite laminate structure. The tool may hold one or more clips having posts, and the tool may be positioned along the bond line between at least two composite laminate elements. Joint sections of the clip may be heated to increase a pliability of the joint section, and the tool may be actuated to drive the post through the at least two composite laminate elements. The posts, may deflect toward a base of the clip, thereby to seat the clip. The reinforced composite laminate structure may then be cured.

摘要： A nailer is provided for securing planks to a subfloor in tight places with fasteners. A fastener ejection channel made in the nailer is formed in between a pair of first and second guide plates spacedly mounted parallel to one another. The first guide plate defines a planar inner end portion having an ovoidal slot and an outer end portion defining a transverse arcuate first flange. The second guide plate defines an arcuate second flange extending away from the first guide plate and generally parallel to the first flange. An elongated straight push rod is mounted partially nested at an inner end in the ovoidal slot. The bottom portion of the push rod is movable along the fastener ejection channel between first and second limit positions. A lengthwise notch extends along the second guide plate intermediate section and opens into the second flange and is sized and shaped to accommodate transverse passage of an outer end portion of the push rod, wherein the push rod moves rectilinearly between the first and an intermediate position thereof but the push rod outer end portion tilts laterally away from the first guide plate when moving in non-rectilinear fashion between the intermediate and second limit positions thereof.

摘要： The nailing machine (1) comprises an air passage (510) allowing communication between a cylinder (200) and a return air chamber (500) in which compressed air for returning a piston (300) to the initial position is accumulated. The air passage (510) is provided with a control valve (520) controlling entry of compressed air into the return air chamber (500) from the cylinder (200). The control valve (520) opens the air passage (510) and allows entry of compressed air into the return air chamber (500) in the case wherein the nailed object produces a small reaction force upon driving the nail, namely when the upward moving distance of the body (100) relative to the push lever (700) is smaller than a predetermined distance. The compressed air that has entered the return air chamber (500) further enters a below-the-piston chamber and serves as air damper, reducing the driving force.

摘要： A stapler selectively uses enhanced leverage to break a glue bond of a staple to separate the staple from a rack of staples in the stapler. The staple does not press a working surface during this operating stage. The extra leverage stage occurs through a minority of total handle travel, preferably via a pivoting lever linked to the striker at one end and the opposite end traversing between inner spaced apart ribs underneath the handle. A remaining non-leveraged handle travel stage ejects a staple out from the stapler body against a working surface. A track supports staples from an underside of the top of the staples. The track includes an outward extending bottom support for at least one staple on the track to prevent rotation of a short rack of staples.

摘要： Embodiments described herein relate to a stapler that is constructed in a manner such that the handle of the stapler remains at least substantially parallel to the base as the handle is moved downward by a user to actuate a stapling operation. One illustrative embodiment is directed to a stapler movable between a rest position and a staple ejection position that comprises a base, a stapler body, a handle, and a linkage assembly coupled to each of the base and the handle. The stapler body comprises a strike plate, a magazine, and at least one engagement surface coupled to the strike plate. The handle is operable to actuate the strike plate. The linkage assembly comprises at least one linkage member having at least one actuation surface configured to exert a force on the at least one engagement surface as the at least one actuation surface moves along the at least one engagement surface. The linkage assembly couples the base to the handle in such a manner that the handle remains at least substantially parallel to the base as the handle is moved from the rest position to the staple ejection position.
