Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: A first device determines information about service flow arrival time, where the information includes time at which a first service flow (a periodic service flow to be transmitted between an access network device and a user plane network element) arrives at a second device. The first device determines information about service flow sending time based on the information about the service flow arrival time. The first device indicates the second device to wait, after receiving the first service flow, until the service flow sending time to send the first service flow. If the first service flow is an uplink service flow, the second device is the access network device or a translator corresponding to the access network device; or if the first service flow is a downlink service flow, the second device is the user plane network element.

Abstract: A system, process, and computer-readable medium for updating an application cache using a stream listening service is described. A stream listening service may monitor one or more data streams for content relating to a user. The stream listening service may forward the content along with time-to-live values to an application cache. A user may use an application to obtain information regarding the user's account, where the application obtains information from a data store and/or cached information from the application cache. The stream listening service, by forwarding current account information, obtained from listening to one or more streams, to the application cache, reduces traffic at the data store by providing current information from the data stream to the application cache.

Abstract: A method and system for reducing triggering of throughput penalties imposed on a group of users by a software-as-a-service (SaaS) server due to Application Programming Interface (API) calls exceeding limits of the SaaS server. The approaches include intercepting requests to the SaaS server from a user group and monitoring both a rate of API calls for the requests and a rate of API events generated by forwarding the API calls to the SaaS server, intercepting the SaaS server's responses, where some of the responses indicate a throughput penalty imposed by the server, identifying one or more power users from the user group based on the rate of generated notifications, and throttling the rate of the API calls for the requests submitted by the identified power users of the user group to the SaaS server in accordance with an API call throttle limit, thus reducing triggering of the throughput penalty.

Abstract: The present technology relates to a wireless communication device and a method that make it possible to transmit, with low delay, the data supplied from an upper layer. The wireless communication device transmits a signal including first data that is supplied from an upper layer and information regarding timing of transmission of second data that is generated in another wireless communication device on the basis of a result of receiving the first data and is transmitted therefrom. The present technology can be applied to a wireless communication device.

Abstract: A method for transmitting data between a first communication device including a first terminal and a first virtual time sensitive networks (TSN) bridge and a second communication device including a second terminal and a second virtual TSN bridge, without interruption of a stream configured by using a time sensitive network even when a communication device moves, according to the present technology, comprises the steps of: the first terminal transmitting a virtual TSN bridge connection request to the first virtual TSN bridge; the first virtual TSN bridge transmitting a virtual TSN port information request to the second virtual TSN bridge according to the virtual TSN bridge connection request; the second virtual TSN bridge transmitting, to the first virtual TSN bridge, information related to a virtual TSN port included in the second virtual TSN bridge; and the first virtual TSN bridge determining, on the basis of the information related to the virtual TSN port, a plurality of virtual TSN ports to be used for communication with the second virtual TSN bridge in the first virtual TSN bridge.

Abstract: A method of adjusting a scheduling cycle and a network device are provided. The method includes: after receiving a packet from a second network device, determining a sending scheduling cycle of the packet on the second network device, and determining a reception scheduling cycle of the packet on the first network device; determining a target scheduling cycle corresponding to the sending scheduling cycle on the first network device, where the packet corresponds to a cycle queue (CQ) corresponding to the target scheduling cycle; if it is determined to that an initial time length of the scheduling cycle is to be adjusted based on a number of interval cycles between the reception scheduling cycle and the target scheduling cycle, adjusting an actual time length of the scheduling cycle on the first network device from the initial time length to a target time length.
