摘要： A material aerating and mixing machine having a material elevator which elevates, mixes and aerates the material to be processed. The material from the elevator is discharged onto a pair of conveyors, a cross conveyor that can be side shifted for windrow turning, and a discharge conveyor that is pivotally mounted for swingable movement in a horizontal plane into a different positions, one position being in line with the cross conveyor for truck loading, another at an angle for stack turning, and a third position where the conveyor is folded for windrow turning or transport. Each of the conveyors is independently powered depending upon the mode in which the machine is operated.

摘要： A composite insert is provided for converting a rotary mower deck from side discharge to mulching usage. The insert can be detatchably mounted in the mower deck and provides a cutting chamber wherein grass can be cut, mulched and redistributed onto the ground beneath the mower deck. The insert forms with the mower housing a cutting chamber which includes a reduced cross-sectional area at the front portion that provides for confining and accelerating the movement of air and clippings there through to minimize build-up of clippings adjacent the chamber surfaces. At the rear portions of the chamber, a larger cross-sectional area is provided to permit the clippings to slow down and disperse, allowing the clippings to be distributed and/or redirected into the blade for mulching. It is preferred that the insert is adapted for use with a two-bladed mower deck.

摘要： A pull-type harvesting machine is provided having a hydraulically controlled header tilt adjustment mechanism that can be operated from the tractor seat of a towing vehicle. The tilt adjustment mechanism includes a hydraulic tilt circuit and a remotely operated control valve assembly connectable with the tilt circuit and another operating circuit of the harvester. The valve assembly is shiftable between a pair of alternative positions for communicating either the operating circuit or the tilt circuit with the towing vehicle's source of hydraulic pressure. Accordingly, a single source of pressurized fluid may be controlled from within the towing vehicle to alternatively operate either the header tilt mechanism or another function of the harvester, such as swinging of a pulling tongue from side-to-side for lateral positioning of the machine relative to a towing vehicle.

摘要： This invention provides a dual hitch whereby two rakes, tedders or other trail implements can be operated at one time behind a tractor. The dual hitch is designed so that the implements towed by the tractor may be hitched and operated without alteration to the implements themselves. The dual hitch provides the needed operative components. The forward part of the dual hitch mounts on the three-point-hitch of the tractor. A pivot is provided in the dual hitch to allow the rearward implement to operate selectively on a swath to either side of the tractor and the forward implement. In an embodiment of this invention, a hydraulic system is part of the dual hitch to provide adequate power to the rearward implement.

摘要： A multi-piece tool bar assembly including a main support structure suited for connection to a frame of an agricultural implement and a second support structure selectively attachable in end-to-end abutting relation with the main support structure for extending the effective length of the tool bar assembly. A fastener assembly initially aligns support surfaces on the support structures relative to each other and thereafter maintains such alignment to facilitate movement of one or more row units onto the second support structure. The fastener assembly is arranged wholly within the exterior of the support structures and comprises a guide pin which extends beyond an abutting end of one of the support structures and is accommodated in a close sliding fit relationship within an opening defined at the abutting end of the other support structure. The guide pin and opening are precisely located on the respective support structures to ensure alignment of the support surfaces of the support structures. Threaded fasteners releasably interconnect the support structures to each other and furthermore maintain the support surfaces in alignment relative to each other.

摘要： A mowing machine has a frame with driving wheels, which are adjustable in height, and a yoke carrying a cutter beam. The yoke is suspended from the frame such that it can move up and down with respect to the frame, and the cutter beam is swingably journalled on the yoke. The yoke and the beam are balanced by an upwardly directed spring force. Minor elevations on the ground make the cutter beam swing upwardly so that it is just the weight of the cutter beam itself which is accelerated.

摘要： A flotation mechanism for use on a crop harvesting machine having a header suspended from the frame thereof by flotation springs is disclosed wherein a hydraulic cylinder interconnects the frame and at least one of the springs to allow selective adjustment of the weight of the header supported from the frame. 摘要： A forage crop harvester is provided with a rotary crop pick-up which deposits crop deposited in an elongated swath and deposits it on a transversely extended, moveable conveyor which consolidates the crop material and deposits it in a windrow at one side of the harvester. The pick-up is disposed on the harvester in a position in advance of the harvester wheels, thereby eliminating damage to the crop caused by crushing of the material in the swath by the wheels. The harvester includes mechanism providing for maintaining it in an offset relationship with respect to the tractor during operation. The rake and conveyor are supported through a counterbalancing mechanism which maintains it in a floating relationship in a crop pick-up position and has ground engaging skids which limit contact of the rake teeth with the ground surface.
