摘要: An automotive control module includes a microcontroller having an access port, and that permits reprogramming of its functions responsive to a voltage at the access port being greater than a first predefined threshold upon power-up or reset thereof. The automotive control module also includes a boot assist control circuit lacking logical elements and including a pair of input ports, an output port directly electrically connected to the access port, and a plurality of capacitors, resistors, and transistors electrically connected between the pair and output port. The plurality outputs a voltage to the output port at least equal to the first predefined threshold responsive to voltages at both the input ports being greater than a second predefined threshold, and outputs a voltage to the output port less than the first predefined threshold responsive to the voltage at either one of the input ports being less than the second predefined threshold.

The voltage supply unit includes a first battery stack, a second battery stack and an electronic control unit, wherein the electronic control unit is adapted to regulate the energy state of the first battery stack to a first energy state, and to regulate the energy state of the second battery stack to a second energy state, where the first energy state differs from the second energy state. Power characteristics of the voltage supply unit can be optimized by allowing the energy states of the first and the second battery stacks to differ.

摘要: An electric system is disclosed. The electric system comprises first and second battery subassemblies, an interrupter, and a system controller. The interrupter connects the first battery subassembly in series to the second battery subassembly via a switched current-limiting path in parallel with a switched non-current-limiting path. The first battery subassembly causes closing of the switched current-limiting path when an energizing trigger is applied to the electric system. The system controller causes closing of the switched non-current-limiting path when energized by the first and second battery subassemblies. The electric system may be integrated in an electric vehicle. A method for energizing an electric system is also disclosed.

摘要: Systems, methods, and storage media for optimizing performance of a vehicle battery pack are disclosed. A method includes receiving data pertaining to cells within a battery pack installed in each vehicle of a fleet of vehicles, the data received from at least one of each vehicle, providing the data to a machine learning server, and directing the machine learning server to generate a predictive model. The predictive model is based on machine learning of the data. The method further includes providing the predictive model to each vehicle, the predictive model providing instructions for adjusting configuration parameters for each of the cells in the battery pack such that the battery pack is optimized for a particular use, and directing each vehicle to optimize performance of the vehicle battery pack based on the predictive model.

摘要: A bi-directional LLC converter includes: first and second sides coupled by an isolation transformer, the first side including a switch network connected to an LLC network, the LLC network including a first winding of the isolation transformer, the second side including a switch network connected to a second winding of the isolation transformer; and a controller operable to operate the LLC converter in a forward mode in which the first side functions as an inverter and the second side functions as a rectifier, and to operate the LLC converter in a reverse mode in which the second side functions as an inverter and the first side functions as a rectifier. In the reverse mode, the controller is operable to delay turn off of the switch network on the first side at an operating frequency above resonance of the LLC converter, to yield a gain greater than one in the reverse mode.
