摘要: The present disclosure relates to a switching antenna for UWB communication for a vehicle. The switching antenna may include a substrate part, a radiation part formed in the substrate part and configured to radiate an omnidirectional pattern signal, a main ground part formed in the substrate part and disposed below the radiation part, side ground parts formed on the substrate part and disposed on both sides of the radiation part, and a selection signal part formed in the substrate part and configured to induce a radiation pattern of the radiation part to become either directional or omnidirectional by selectively connecting the main ground part and the side ground part.

摘要: Various embodiments are directed to systems, apparatus and methods providing an ultra-wide band (UWB) antenna configured to conform to a doubly curved surface and having an operating wavelength λ, the UWB antenna comprising: an array of electrically cooperating antennas emanating outward from a base region to respective locations of an outer surface region conforming to the doubly curved surface, the area of the outer surface region being divided in accordance with a mesh of unit cells defining thereby a plurality of edges, each of the unit cells having a unit cell minimum area selected in accordance with a desired array gain; wherein for each antenna the respective location of the outer surface region to which the antenna extends is associated with a respective one of the plurality of edges defined by the mesh of unit cells.

摘要: An ultra wide band antenna includes a ground plane and an antenna body. The antenna body includes a planar portion arranged above and parallel to the ground plane. A tapered side portion extends perpendicular to the planar portion in a direction towards the ground plane, wraps at least 50% around an outer edge of the planar portion and tapers in height from a feed side of the antenna body in a direction towards a back side of the antenna body. A cylinder is connected to a bottom surface of the planar portion and to the ground plane. A connecting portion connects the back side at the outer edge of the planar portion to the ground plane.

摘要: A communication device, method and computer program product enable multiple transceiver communication in a communication device having a configurable housing. A pivot mechanism is connected between first and second housing portions for relative movement of a housing assembly between open and closed positions. The closed position aligns four antenna positions in the first housing portion adjacent to one of four antenna positions in the second housing portion to present four pairings of adjacent antenna positions. Four antennas are positioned within the first housing portion or the second housing portion at a different one of the four pairings of adjacent antenna positions. A radio frequency (RF) front end is communicatively coupled to the four antennas and has two or more transceivers that utilize the four antennas to communicate without antenna-to-antenna signal cancellation in RF low band while the housing assembly is in either of the open position and the closed position.
