摘要: A rotor shaft adapted to rotate about a rotor axis thereof. The rotor shaft includes a rotor cavity configured concentrically to the rotor axis inside the rotor shaft. The rotor shaft further includes a plurality of cooling bores extending radially outward from the rotor cavity to feed cooling air into an internal cooling system in a blade. Each cooling bore includes a bore inlet portion and a distal bore outlet portion. The respective bore inlet portion ends in a plateau, projecting above the outer circumference contour of the rotor cavity. Thus, cooling bore inlets are shifted to a low stress area and the lifetime of the rotor is improved.

摘要: Systems and methods according to these exemplary embodiments provide for methods and systems related to optical current sensors used to monitor standby power transformers, specifically fiber optical current and voltage sensors and, more particularly, to applications involving filters for use in such sensors, such as frequency tracking comb filters. According to one embodiment, a method for monitoring a connection condition of a stand by power transformer includes the steps of measuring a current flowing through a high voltage side of the standby power transformer using at least one optical current sensor disposed proximate to a current flow path of the high voltage side, using a comb filter to filter the measured current, determining whether the filtered, measured current is less than a predetermined threshold value; and generating an alarm indication that the high voltage side of the standby power transformer is unconnected.

摘要: Device for making and/or breaking a current including a pair of permanent contacts (3, 4), at least one of the contacts (3, 4) being movable. At least one permanent contact (3, 4) including a main portion (3.1, 4.1) having a free end and an end protection portion (3.2, 4.2) secured to the free end of the main portion (3.1, 4.1), designed to be in mechanical and electrical contact with the other permanent contact (4, 3) only during an operation for opening or closing the pair. The end protection portion (3.2, 4.2) is made of a single transition metal having a melting temperature that is strictly higher than that of the main portion (3.1, 4.1) to which it is secured, or of an oxide or carbide of such a metal, or even of zinc oxide. For application in particular to high- or medium-voltage circuit breakers.

摘要: A method and a device for locating internal arcing that occurs in a compartment (CPi) of a gas-insulated line (L), each compartment being provided with at least one pressure sensor (Pi). The method comprises: triggering pressure measurements in a compartment as soon as the difference between the currents that flow through two current toroids (TCi) around two adjacent compartments exceeds a threshold value indicating the occurrence of internal arcing in the compartment; calculating a period Δt that separates the time at which the pressure detector began to detect a pressure variation and the time at which the internal arcing occurred; and calculating a distance d that separates the place at which the internal arc is formed from the position of the pressure sensor using the equation d=V/Δt in which V is the speed of sound in the gas.

摘要: Air core reactor includes a coil connected between first and second terminals. The coil is made of a succession of bundles of conductor (B1, B2, B3, . . . , BN) connected in series along an axis between the first terminal and the second terminal. Each bundle is made of one wire wound around the axis to form a multi-layer winding having a cross-section of N winding layers in a direction perpendicular to the axis, from a winding layer of rank 1 which is the closest to the axis to a winding layer of rank N which is the furthest from the axis. Each perpendicular winding layer includes several winding layers in the direction of the axis. The number of axial winding of the perpendicular winding layer of rank j (j=2, . . . , N) is equal or less than the number of axial winding layers of the perpendicular winding layer of rank j−1.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and a device for locating an event transmitting a signal, including a set of sensors (Ai-Am) to measure the response times of the said signal, and processing means (3) to solve a system of equations defining distances between the said sensors and the said event as a function of a speed of propagation of the said signal and of an offset of the said response times relative to a reference time, where the device also includes: processing means (3) to recommence multiple times the solution of the system of equations, each time modifying the response time of at least one of the said sensors according to a local variation, and processing means (3) to determine the location of the event as a function of the positions obtained when the different solutions of the system of equations are found.

摘要: A head assembly for a pulverized coal nozzle includes removeable wear-resistant inserts having vanes. The vanes may be flat or curved to direct a stream of air and pulverized solid fuel particles from the inlet port toward the outlet port. The curved vanes curve in two dimensions to evenly distribute the stream of air and pulverized solid fuel away from the outer surfaces reducing wear and corrosion. The pipe elbow has a removable cover that allows for easy access. The vanes are attached to a wear-resistant replaceable liner thus allowing them to be easily removed and replaced. The wear-resistant liner may be made from several parts for ease of removal and replacement.
