    摘要： An installation tool for installing wire connectors used in forming an insulated splice between the stripped ends of insulated electrical wires. The tool includes an elongated, generally hollow body drive member adapted to rotatably retain two cylindrically-shaped wrench heads. The wrench heads are provided with a receptacle each of which is adapted to receive a different size wire connector therein. The body drive member includes an interiorly disposed one-way clutch which coacts with each of the wrench heads and couples rotational torque thereto applied to the body drive member. In addition, the wrench heads may be provided with apertures which function as gauges to guide in installer as to the amount of insulation to be removed or stripped from the ends of the wires before installing a wire connector thereon. The wrench heads are each further provided with a coaxially disposed aperture adapted to receive an auxiliary drive member. Alternatively, the body drive member may be provided with a coaxially disposed aperture adapted to receive the auxiliary drive member.

    摘要： A plier-like hand tool adapted for installing wire fabric fence clamps is provided. The hand tool has one jaw terminating in an elongated projection adapted to cooperate with an aperture provided proximate one hook-shaped terminal end of a wire fabric fence clamp and a second jaw terminating in a tapered transverse edge adapted to cooperate with another hook-shaped terminal end of the fence clamp. The transverse edge of the second jaw includes a protrusion adapted to cooperate with a cut-out or slot provided in the other terminal end of the fence clamp. The hand tool is also provided with a flat hammer-like surface located on the second jaw which may be used for bending the hook-shaped portions of the fence clamp into permanent engagement with one another.

    摘要： A tamper-proof fence clamp adapted to affix a wire fabric material to tubular fence frame structures. The fence clamp is fabricated from a relatively thin elongated, normally U-shaped metal strap, which encircles the tubular fence structure and includes an oblique angled groove therein for accommodating a strand of the wire fabric. Hook-shaped portions provided on the terminal ends of the strap cooperatively engage each other and are bent towards a transverse ridge provided proximate one terminal end portion of the strap thereby locking the strap and affixing the strand of wire fabric to the tubular fence structure. An up-struck portion in the terminal end of the strap cooperatively engages a slot in the other terminal end portion of the strap to prevent lateral disengagement thereof.

    摘要： A solderless electrically insulated connector has an insulating body including a base portion and a cover portion. The cover portion includes a depressible member and a resilient metal contact element fixedly retained therein for movement with respect thereto. The base portion is longitudinally grooved to accept insulated electrically conductive wires therein. Both the base portion and the cover portion are provided with a first locking means for locking the base and cover portions together. During installation, movement of the depressible member causes the contact element to be forced into the base portion thereby causing the resilient metal contact element to make a common electrically conductive contact with each of the wires inserted therein. The contact element is retained in its depressed position by tangs provided thereon thereby providing a second locking means between the cover and base portions.
