摘要: An assembly line system comprising including a programable controller, a priority component, a first section upstream of the priority component that includes upstream backup detecting sensors, and a second section downstream of the priority component that includes downstream backup detecting sensors. In operation, the programable controller identifies whether there is a backup in the first and/or second section from a current status of each of the upstream and downstream backup detecting sensors and alters an operating speed of the priority component responsive thereto so as to avoid micro stops of the priority component.

摘要: The present invention provides an article picking and placing system, the system comprising: —a first article picking tooling and a second article picking tooling, and an intermediate transportation unit configured in between an article infeed transportation unit and an article outfeed transportation unit; —a control unit for synchronizing the first and second article picking tooling such that (i) the first article picking tooling picks and/or forms a first configuration of articles from the infeed transportation unit for transfer to the intermediate transportation unit, thereby forming an intermediate configuration on said intermediate transportation unit, and (ii) the second picking tooling picks a second configuration of articles from said intermediate transportation unit for transfer to the outfeed transportation unit, wherein the second and intermediate article configurations are different relative to each other and each different from the first article configuration.

摘要: A glass container has an outer glass surface with an inkjet printed image provided on the surface. A cold-end coating (CEC) with a thickness between 0 to 20 nm is present between the outer glass surface and the inkjet printed image. Such glass container is preferably a one-way beverage bottle. A method of inkjet printing an image on a glass container comprises the steps of (a) manufacturing a glass container having a CEC layer; (b) removing at least part of the CEC layer to a level wherein the remaining CEC layer has a thickness of 0 to 20 nm; and (c) inkjet printing an image on the glass container.

摘要: A method of forming packaging accommodates one or more products and packaging produced by the method. The method includes providing a planar packaging blank of foldable material and assembling it into packaging capable of accommodating at least one product. A flexible electronics module on the packaging blank has at least one temperature measurement device and a temperature display to measure and display the temperature of at least one of the products. The positioning of the flexible electronics module with respect to the packaging permits both to be folded together to form the assembled packaging. The packaging is foldable from a first unassembled state to a second assembled state to accommodate at least one product, and the electronics module is at least partly flexible to enable it to be folded with the packaging. The packaging may hold six beverage containers and might be considered to be a “six pack.”

摘要: The present disclosure provides a portable cooling multipack for holding and cooling a plurality of beverage containers. The multipack includes a primary container formed from an open top housing, having a bottom surface, and a plurality of sidewalls connected and extended away from the bottom surface to define an inner surface there-between, accessible through a top open surface. The multipack further includes a closing wrap for closing the top open surface of the housing of the primary container. The closing wrap includes a plurality of panels defining a first end panel connected to a second end panel through a bottom panel at one end and extending towards a top panel at another end. The closing wrap is wrapped around a pair of sidewalls of the primary containers in a vertical direction such that the top panel of the closing wrap sealingly covers the open top surface of the primary container.
