    摘要: A compressor has a cylinder formed of an aluminum alloy, and a moving member slidably received within the cylinder. Hard particles are dispersed in the inner peripheral surface portion of the cylinder. The hard particles are formed of a chemical compound such as a nitride and a carbide. The cylinder is manufactured by preparing a first green compact formed of a mixture of a powdery material for the aluminum alloy and the hard particles and a second green compact formed solely of the powdery material, preparing a billet having an inner layer formed of the first green compact, and an outer layer formed of said second green compact, placing the billet in a preheated state into a container and further heating same therein, and fitting a mandrel through a central bore of the billet and pressurizing the billet to extrude same through a die hole in a die.

    摘要: In a control system for actuating a vehicle air-bag, a data representing change in the detected vehicle speed is calculated on the basis of the acceleration sensed by a vehicle acceleration sensor. The data is compared with a reference signal depending upon a temperature relating to that of an actuating member of the air-bag to discriminate whether or not the change in the detected vehicle speed has reached a level determined by the reference signal, whereby the complete inflation of the air-bag is ensured when a collision occurs without a time delay regardless of changes in temperature.

    摘要: Here is disclosed a heat exchanger of the multiflow type comprising a plurality of flat tubes and corrugated fins stacked together one on another alternately, an inlet header pipe to which said flat tubes are connected at their one ends, an outlet header pipe to which said flat tubes are connected at their other ends, and partitions provided within said respective header pipes so that a flow of refrigerant folded plural times in zigzag fashion is established along a purality of paths defined between the two header pipes, wherein the corrugated fins and the flat tubes are previously dimensioned within the respective optimal ranges and the number of the paths as well as the numbers of the flat tubes defining the respective paths are also optimally selected so that the passage resistance of the refrigerant and the flow resistance of the cooling air may be effectively reduced while improving the heat exchanging efficiency, and thereby a heat exchanger having a totally high reliability may be obtained.

    摘要: An automotive heat exchanger of the parallel flow type includes a number of flat tubes (4), a number of corrugated fins (5), with the flat tubes and the corrugated fins being stacked alternately, the first cylindrical header tank (2) to which the tubes are connected by inserting one end thereof laterally into the first header tank, and the second cylindrical header tank (3) to which the tubes are connected by inserting the other end thereof laterally into the second header tank. The ends of each tube inserted laterally into the header tanks are cut off along the inner peripheral surfaces of the header tanks, thus minimizing the obstruction of flow in the headers. The header tanks may be made substantially elliptical.

    摘要: A peak hold circuit and a sample-and-hold circuit are provided for accurately and immediately detecting variations in a load connected to a generator. The peak hold circuit holds a peak voltage of a waveform voltage signal having an amplitude corresponding to the magnitude of the load. The peak hold circuit is responsive to a reset signal from a reset circuit to be reset during a time interval between a point after the peak of the waveform voltage signal and a point before a subsequent peak of the waveform voltage signal, so that the peak hold circuit is reset, thereby renewing the peak voltage held in the peak hold circuit. When the sample-and-hold circuit receives a sampling instruction signal from a sampling instruction circuit during a time interval between a point after the peak of said waveform voltage signal and a point before said reset signal is outputted, the sample-and-hold circuit operates in a sampling mode to sample the peak voltages outputted from the peak hold circuit. The sample-and-hold circuit is switched into a hold mode before the peak hold circuit is reset, so as to hold the sampled peak voltage.
