    摘要: A device and method for severing the piles, grout and structural sleeves of vertical marine structures, from the inside of the structural member or the outside of the structural member. The device will sever the pile, grout or sleeve without jamming even though the weight of the marine structure is bearing down on the pile, grout or sleeve. The device is first lowered into the pile at the desired elevation and further locked onto the wall of the pile. Once the device is locked onto the pile, the cutter is lowered and proceeds to cut into the pile, grout and sleeve. When a sufficient section of the pile, grout or sleeve has been cut, spacers with barbs are forced into the slot formed by the cutter blade and are held in place by the barbs. After the spacers are in place, the remainder of the pile is severed with the cutter blade and a continuity check is made of the pile. An electric probe is placed on the lower section of the pile and if the pile is completely severed, a readout should indicate an open electric circuit. If any portion of the pile is still uncut, the readout should indicate a closed electric circuit. When a closed circuit is indicated, the cutter will rotate and cut the pile where it is uncut.

    摘要: A torque relief device for use on sucker rod pumps that relieves sucker rod torque deep in the well. Although the device will relieve torque for all sucker rod pumps it will be most effective for use in long stroke sucker rod pumps; further although the device will be effective on all sucker rod pumped wells, it will be most effective on deviated wells where sucker rod torque is the greatest. The device includes a square tube fixed within the well. Inside of the square tube a wheeled rod guide moves up and down with the sucker rods but is restrained from rotating by the wheels reacting with the tube. At each end of the wheeled rod guide is a swivel that allows the sucker rod to rotate thus dissipating the sucker rod torque.

    摘要: A modular safety needle cannula device that can be stored independently from the syringe that it will be used with, wherein when it is to be used the modular safety needle cannula device is attached or fixed to a suitable syringe, used to inject medicament into a body and than the used needle cannula is suitably disposed into an elongated module wherein the needle cannula cannot prick or harm a person. The device is comprised of a hub that is used to attach the device to a standard syringe, a capsule, a slideable piston, a compressed biased spring, a needle cannula that is straight and rigid on the first end and curved or flexible between the first end and the second end and wherein the second end of the needle cannula is fixed to the hub. A trigger or release means holds the slideable piston near the first end of the elongated capsule. After the needle cannula has been used to inject medicament into the body, the trigger or release meanes is pressed, releasing the slideable piston and thereby allowing the compressed spring to thrust the slideable piston toward the second end of the needle cannula thereby crushing the curved and flexible section of the needle cannula between the slideable piston and the second end of the elongated capsule thereby destroying the needle cannula and further encapsulating the point at the first end of the needle cannula in the inside of the elongated capsule thereby preventing an accidental needle prick or injury from the point or the first end of the needle cannula.

The device is incorporated in a chain driven pump to prevent the chain from forming a bow or archlike configuration as the chain rolls off of the sprocket and down into the well. When the chain is allowed to form this bow or arch it could damage the well and well casing. The device includes a first rod on the side of the chain and a second rod on the second side of the chain that will allow the rollers of the chain to roll on the rod and further prevent the chain from bowing or arching and will further allow the rollers on the chain to roll on the rods which will further prevent damage to the well casing, the well, and the chain.

    摘要: A vial filling device having a needle cannula fixed to a slidable piston. The slidable piston is held within an elongated hollow barrel by an open spring and latch means. When the elongated hollow barrel is attached to the vial assembly, a lap flange is forced open and the slidable piston is pressed with a thumb, forcing the spring to compress and forcing the needle cannula to penetrate the soft plug in the vial. The blood or other fluid flows through the needle cannula until sufficient blood or other fluid is in the vial. When the vial is suitably filled, the thumb is removed from the slidable piston and the spring pushes the slidable piston in a direction away from the vial thus removing the needle cannula from the vial plug and holding the needle cannula safely inside of the elongated hollow barrel. The elongated hollow barrel is further removed from the plug, the lap flange closes thus enclosing the contaminated needle cannula.

The coiled spring needle cannula with said wire inside is removed from said coil bar and further installed into a modullar hub chamber and further stretched to a suitable length wherein said stretched spring needle cannula becomes a biased spring needle cannula wherein said biased spring needle cannula is inserted into a hub chamber and wherein said biased spring needle cannula is suitably fixed to said hub chamber wherein said first end of said biased spring needle cannula extends forward froming a straight needle cannula and wherein said wire is removed from said biased spring needle cannula.
