Abstract: A coupler for aseptically coupling and controlling fluid communication between at least two components. The coupler includes a first connector housing with an inner concave surface. Abstract: An aseptic closure system for attaching to a container including an upper section and a lower section that are removably attached to one another. Each section includes a valve housing with a rotary valve mounted in a bore extending through the valve housing. The upper section has an inlet port and an outlet port, each with a conduit providing fluid communication through the port to an interior of the upper valve housing. The lower section is adapted to mount to a container. The lower valve housing includes two conduits that permit fluid communication through the lower valve housing to an interior of the lower section. The rotation of the rotary valves closes off flow through the conduits in the respective housings.

Abstract: A spiral heat exchanger features: a cold fluid inlet manifold, a hot fluid inlet manifold and at least one spiral fluid pathway. The cold fluid inlet manifold receives cold fluid and provide cold inlet manifold fluid. The hot fluid inlet manifold receives hot fluid and provide hot inlet manifold fluid. The at least one spiral fluid pathway includes cold spiral pathways configured to receive the cold inlet manifold fluid and provide cold spiral fluid pathway fluid, and hot spiral pathways configured to receive the hot inlet manifold fluid and provide hot spiral fluid pathway fluid. The cold spiral pathways and the hot spiral pathways are configured in relation to one another to exchange heat between the cold spiral pathway fluid and the hot spiral pathway fluid so that the hot spiral fluid pathway fluid warms the cold spiral fluid pathway fluid, and vice versa.

The selecting of the metal deposition procedure includes forming the metal by mixing metal powders that include a Nickel Alloy “A” in a specified mixed ratio with a pure Nickel powder “B” for depositing on the cast iron pump part.

Abstract: A switch assembly features an automatic switch and an electronic circuit board. The automatic switch has a common contact and a normally open switch contact to short when a boiler has sufficient water, and has the common contact and a normally closed switch contact to short when the boiler has a low water level. The electronic circuit board has a signal processor, a reset switch, and a low water status LED for providing a status indication of a low water condition that remains ON even if the water level has risen unless the reset switch is reset. The signal processor couples to the common contact, the normally closed switch contact and the normally open switch contact, senses signaling containing the status of the common contact, the normally closed switch contact and the normally open switch contact, provides corresponding signaling to turn ON the low water status LED when the water level is low, and responds to a reset switch signal and turn OFF the low water status LED.

By way of example, a contoured insert may be specifically calibrated to the pipe line size to ensure the desired accuracy of the flow measurement, irrespective of pipe length between the device and other fluid system components that would negatively influence other flow rate measurement devices. This in turn reduces the total number of components needed in a system.

Abstract: A submersible pump is provided featuring: a motor; run/start capacitors having run/start capacitor connectors; a housing having a motor housing portion and a run/start capacitor housing portion separated by a housing wall, the motor housing portion having a motor housing chamber to receive/contain the motor and oil for immersing the motor in an oil bath, the run/start housing portion having a run/start housing chamber, the housing wall having connection ports to allow sealed connections between electrical components in the motor housing portion and the run/start capacitor housing portion; a removable motor housing cover to couple/close the motor housing portion; a removable run/start capacitor housing cover to couple/close the run/start capacitor housing portion; and a capacitive cup having a side wall portion and a bottom wall portion, to be removeably arranged in the run/start capacitor housing chamber, the bottom wall portion to mount the run/start capacitors to be contained/surrounded by the side wall portion, the bottom wall portion having corresponding connection ports to allow the sealed connections between the run/start capacitor connectors and the electrical components in the motor housing portion in order to couple the run/start capacitors to the motor.
