摘要: An ice dispenser apparatus includes an ice making mechanism (1) and, an ice storage box (5) for storing ice pieces produced by the ice making mechanism. When the ice pieces are dispensed a discharge port shutter (9) normally closing a discharge port (5c) provided in the ice storage box (5) at a lower portion thereof is opened by a discharge port shutter actuator (11). A transient storage chamber (13) is provided in communication with the discharge port (5c), the chamber having a normally closed aperture for transiently storing a predetermined amount of ice pieces discharged from the ice storage box (5) through the discharge port (5c) when the discharge port shutter (9) is opened. A transient storage chamber shutter (10) is provided in association with the transient storage chamber (13) and is adapted to be actuated by a transient storage chamber shutter actuator (12) for selectively opening or closing the aperture. The discharge port shutter (9) and the transient storage chamber shutter (9) are opened and closed by the associated actuators (11, 12), respectively, in such a manner that the predetermined amount of ice pieces is temporarily stored once within the transient storage chamber (13) before being dispensed therefrom.

摘要: An auger type ice making mahine has a refrigerator, an ice making cylinder for forming a layer of ice in cooperation with the refrigerator, and a top ice storage chamber in communication with the ice making cylinder for storing ice discharged therefrom. A bottom ice storage chamber is disposed below the top ice storage chamber for receiving and storing ice transferred from the top ice storage chamber. The top ice storage chamber is equipped with a top ice storage level detector for detecting the amount of ice stored within the top chamber, an ice dispensing gate mechanism capable of dispensing ice pieces stored in the top ice storage chamber outwardly therefrom, and an ice transfer system capable of transferring ice pieces from the top ice storage chamber to the bottom ice storage chamber. The bottom ice storage chamber is provided with a bottom ice storage level detector for detecting the amount of ice stored within the bottom chamber. The refrigerator is stopped by the top ice storage detector when a predetermined amount of stored ice is detected. The ice transfer system is controlled so as to be released from the operating state by the bottom ice storage level detector when a predetermined amount of stored ice within the bottom chamber is detected.

摘要: An auger type ice making apparatus adapted for effectively flushing and removing deepended water and precipitates in the water supply pipe and the freezing cylinder during ice making. The apparatus includes a water inlet having a supply valve for supplying ice-making water into the ice-making water tank, a water level switch in the tank, a generally cylindrical freezing cylinder communicating with the inside of the ice-making water tank, a screw shaft rotatably mounted within the freezing cylinder and having a screw edge, a freezing portion including a compressor for supplying a refrigerant to a freezing pipe coiled about the outer periphery of the freezing cylinder, a water supplying pipe between the ice making water tank and freezing cylinder, a water discharge valve in the freezing cylinder, and a control circuit construction including a cleaning timer for controlling the water supply valve and the water discharge valve the cleaning timer and the water level switch are operative to open the water discharge valve during the time that the water supply valve is closed, whereby the inside of said water supply pipe and the freezing cylinder is cleaned with an amount of the ice-making water within the operating range of the water level switch in the ice-making water tank.

摘要: A liquid level control apparatus which detects a liquid level in a tank employed, for example, in ice making equipment, to thereby trigger a control operation. The level control apparatus comprises a tank containing a body of liquid, a float movable in response to the vertical movement of the surface of liquid within the tank, a hollow case having a closed top and an open bottom, and a guide member disposed within the case for guiding the vertical movement of the float. The hollow case is arranged so that the open bottom thereof is closed by the rising liquid to thereby from a hermetically closed chamber within the case. An upstanding tubular member extends into the hollow case such that the lower end of the tube defines a level of liquid at which the hermetically closed chamber is formed. The chamber thus formed is effective for preventing the guide member from being immersed in the liquid to assure smooth movement of the float.

摘要: An automatic ice making machine or apparatus of the type in which ice-making water is directed in jets upwards towards a freezing grid or chamber having a large number of freezing cells. The apparatus has an ice-cutting frame having second partitioning plates at a preset spacing from and in opposition to the lower ends of the first partitioning plates of said freezing cells, and a heating means provided to the cutting frame. The second partitioning plates are heated by a hot gas pipe for melting and cutting the ice formed in the freezing cells the end of the ice formation state and the end of harvesting state being detected by a temperature sensor provided on the ice cutting frame.

摘要: In an auger type icemaker comprising an auger in a refrigeration cylinder, an extrusion head disposed in the upper end of the auger, and a plurality of bosses disposed in the extrusion head ice compressing passages and extending axially downward and radially outward, to prevent choking of ice particles in the refrigeration cylinder, the bosses extending further downward at a predetermined distance from the lower end surface of the extrusion head and partially overlap the auger. The diameter of the auger corresponding to the overlapping portion is smaller than that of the other portions.

摘要: A rotary cutter for an auger type ice making machine mounted on a rotatable shaft thereof comprises a plurality of cutter blades for cutting ice rods extruded from ice compressing passages into ice pellets or chips. Some of the cutter blades are integrally provided at an upper edge portion thereof with an ice feeding blade having an inclination relative to the center axis of the cutter which is smaller than that of the associated cutter blade. Owing to the provision of the ice feeding blades, the ice chips resulting from the cutting are prevented from staying at the upper edge portions of the cutter blades. As compression of ice between the cutter blades does not effectually take take between the cutter blades, the ice is not unncessarily hardened, facilitating extrusion of ice from the cutter.

摘要: An ice discharging apparatus of an ice dispenser comprises an openable door normally urged resiliently to a closed state by means of a torsion coil spring and adapted to be openable by a door actuator under the control of a control apparatus. The torsion coil spring includes an intermediate coil portion substantially of a cylindrical form and at least one end coil portion having an inner diameter greater than an average diameter of the intermediate coil portion in the unloaded state. The torsion coil spring has at least one arm extending from an end of the coil spring and having an extension secured in contact with a stationary part of the apparatus or a part of the openable door at an intermediate portion thereof and subsequently bent to constitute an inactive portion in which an annular mounting member for mounting the torsion coil spring is formed at the free end thereof. The torsion coil spring includes at least one annular portion formed at an end of an arm extending from the spring, the annular portion being linked to an anti-drop wire ring member mounted on a stationary part of the ice discharging apparatus or on the openable door. The torsion coil spring is difficult to break. Fragments resulting from breakage is prevented from dropping into ice being discharged.

摘要: An auger-type ice making machine has a refrigerating cylinder having upper and lower bearings, an auger supported rotatably within the refrigerating cylinder by the upper and lower bearings, a water supply valve for supplying water to the refrigerating cylinder, a drain valve in fluid communication with the refrigerating cylinder for discharging water therefrom, an electric detector assembly including an electrode member having its one end extending into the refrigerating cylinder, and an electric control circuit electrically connected to the electrode member to receive a detection signal from the electric detector assembly. The electric control circuit determines on the basis of the detection signal that the impurity concentration of the water has increased beyond a predetermined level. The water supply valve and the drain valve are electrically connected to the control circuit to be closed and opened, respectively, when the control circuit determines that the impurity concentration of water has increased beyond this predetermined level, thereby interrupting the water supply to the refrigerating cylinder while discharging water therefrom in an automatic manner.

摘要: The ice making machine constructed in accordance with the invention has an ice making mold with a plurality of ice making cells opened at the bottom, a water tank, water spray nozzles adapted for spraying the water contained in the water tank towards said ice making cells, an ice stocker adapted for storage of ice cubes formed in and harvested from said ice making cells, and an inclined plate having water spray openings and recovery openings and mounted between said ice making mold and the water spray nozzles.The inclined plate comprises a corrugated upper section, a similarly corrugated lower section and a transition section having a flat surface and interconnecting said upper and lower sections. The recesses and projections of the upper section are aligned respectively with projections and recesses of said lower section in the direction in which the water and ice cubes are moved on the inclined plate. The lowermost points of the recesses of the upper section are connected to and are at the same height level as the uppermost points of the associated projections of the lower section.
