    Abstract: An attachment mechanism is configured to receive a connector member including a connector opening. The attachment mechanism includes a housing, an actuator mechanism, and a plate. The housing defines a cavity which selectively receives the connector member. The actuator mechanism includes a lock member movable between an extended position, in which a portion of the lock member extends into the cavity, and a retracted position. The plate is movably mounted in the cavity and movable between a first position, in which the plate prevents the lock member from moving to the extended position, and a second position, in which the plate allows the lock member to move to the extended position. When the connector member is received in the cavity, the plate is moved from the first position to the second position and the lock member is at least partially received by the connector opening.

    Abstract: A hoisting device includes a first part movably connected to a running rail above it, and a second part suspended under the first part, and a hoist arranged between the first part and second part to lift and lower the second part. In addition, a scissors mechanism is arranged between the first part and second part to prevent the horizontal movement and twisting movement of the second part in relation to the first part. Such a hoisting device is advantageous, because the second part of the hoisting device may be lifted and lowered at the same time as the first part is moved without any notable swinging exerted on the second part.

    Abstract: A hoisting mechanism of a crane comprising at least one rope drum for a hoist rope, at least one hoist motor for driving the rope drum, a gearing coupled between the rope drum and the hoist motor, and having an input gear on the hoist motor side and an output gear on the rope drum side, and a brake for braking the input gear.     Abstract: The hoisting arrangement of a hoist of a of a crane, includes a trolley arranged to move along a main support structure of the crane, whereby the trolley includes a support frame structure; bearing wheels which are fastened to the support frame structure and by means of which the trolley is arranged to move along said main support structure; a hoisting mechanism that has a rope drum for a hoisting rope, a rope pulley arrangement which has upper sheave arrangements and lower rope pulley arrangements and through which the hoisting rope may be guided from the rope drum to an attachment point, and a hoisting member in cooperation with the hoisting rope for hoisting a load; whereby the rope drum is supported to the support frame structure of the trolley so that the axle of the rope drum is parallel to the main support structure. In the hoisting arrangement, the disengagement point of the hoisting rope from the rope drum, the attachment point of the sheave, and the attachment point of the first end of hoisting rope are arranged on the same vertical plane of the hoisting arrangement. The rope drum has a first end towards which the hoisting rope is wound in the hoisting member's upper position, and a second end towards which the hoisting rope is unwound in the hoisting member's lower position. The first rope pulley of the rope pulley arrangement is so placed that the release point of the hoisting rope from the first rope pulley to the first sheave is, in the axle direction of the rope drum, further from the second end than the first end of the rope drum.

    Abstract: A support for a trolley, having a running surface that is formed on the support for the trolley, an upper chord, a lower chord and braces that connect said chords together, wherein the braces are designed to be flat, and each brace has a main surface that faces away from the support longitudinally between the upper chord and the lower chord. Two of the braces form a brace pair in each case and are arranged next to one another as viewed in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the support, preferably on the outside of opposite longitudinal sides of the support. To provide such a support, the flat braces are releasably secured to the upper chord and/or to the lower chord. The invention also relates to an overhead transport device having such a support and a trolley that can be moved along the support on the running surface.
