The control device automatically controls the travelling tension of the paper webs within a reference control range, which depends on the number of the paper webs, when the printing machine is driven at a constant speed or when changing speeds slowly. This control device also automatically corrects over-stretching or loosening of the travelling paper webs due to the resistance or the inertial force of guide rollers when the printing machine is driven to change speeds quickly such as at the start or end of the printing operation.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an ink supplying device adapted for a rotary press used for printing news papers. More particularly, the present invention relates to an ink supplying device comprising an inking cylinder, an ink feeding means for feeding ink to the inking cylinder, and an ink temperature control means for controlling the temperature of the ink to be fed to the inking cylinder within the optimum range.The temperature control means comprises a medium circulating unit including a medium chamber, a medium temperature detecting unit, a heater and a cooler; a heat exchanger; a pipe system for circulating between the medium circulating unit and the heat exchanger; and an ink temperature detecting unit.The heat exchanger is preferably selected from plate type heat exchangers.This system allows that the ink temperature is quickly adjusted to the optimum range for printing work and further always maintained within the optimum range during its printing work.

    摘要: A dampening system for a printing apparatus includes a print plate, a printing cylinder contacting the print plate and adapted to supply water to the print plate, a feed device for feeding water to the printing cylinder, and a dampening roller adapted to transfer water from the feed means to the printing cylinder. The dampening roller comprises a roller having a dampening layer composed of a substrate through which is dispersed a plurality of minute hollow bodies. A plurality of the hollow bodies open towards the circumferential surface to form cells for transferring the water from the feed means to the printing cylinder. At least one of the size and the concentration of the hollow bodies dispersed within the substrate is selected depending on the amount of dampening water to be fed to the print plate.

The driving guide rollers are controlled so as to make the revolving speed of the guide rollers faster than the travelling speed of the paper web. The braking guide rollers are controlled so as to make the revolving speed of the guide rollers slower than the travelling speed of the paper web. This guide device can exactly perform a cleaning operation on the guide rollers within a short period and without accumulating the tension applied to the travelling paper web.
