    摘要: Provided are an anode active material for a lithium secondary battery, a method of preparing the same and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. The anode active material for a lithium secondary battery includes a carbonaceous material core; and a shell formed outside of the carbonaceous material core. The shell includes a plurality of spinel-type lithium titanium oxide particles, and a plurality of metal oxide particles, wherein the metal belongs to group 4 or 13 of the periodic table, the metal oxide particles filling voids formed by the carbonaceous material and the plurality of spinel-type lithium titanium oxide particles. The anode active material for a lithium secondary battery has the metal oxide shell, and thus has the improved conductivity, a high output density, and consequently excellent electrical characteristics. The lithium secondary battery manufactured using the anode active material ensures safety sufficiently.

The separator may include a thermoplastic polyolefin-based polymer porous sheet and an aramid-based non-woven fabric sheet stacked on at least one surface of the polyolefin-based polymer porous sheet, wherein the polyolefin-based polymer sheet and the aramid-based non-woven fabric sheet are adhered with an adhesive, and the adhesive loses an adhesive performance at 80° C. or more to separate the two sheets. The separator has a shut-down function and excellent high-temperature shape stability.

    摘要: A lithium secondary battery capable of preventing explosion or firing caused by the increase of inner pressure due to misusage is disclosed. The lithium secondary battery includes an electrode assembly having an anode plate, a cathode plate and a separator, a package having a receiving portion for receiving the electrode assembly and sealed and filled with electrolyte together with the electrode assembly, and an adhesive layer at least partially formed on an outer surface of the package. The lithium secondary battery functions as an explosion-proof safety device for preventing the package from exploding due to abrupt breakage of the package when the package is expanded due to the increase of inner pressure of the battery over a critical value.

    摘要: A method for treating electrode tabs of a crude cell for a lithium secondary battery, a crude cell for a lithium secondary battery manufactured according to the method, and a lithium secondary battery employing the crude cell are disclosed. The method for treating electrode tabs of a crude cell provided with a plurality of anode plates having respective anode grids, a plurality of anode plates having respective anode grids includes the steps of: (a) welding a tab member to an end of a grid of the crude cell to create a welded portion; and (b) attaching an insulating tape to the circumference of the electrode tab so that the insulating tape can wrap around the electrode tab, which is formed by the welded portion.
