摘要： A method and an apparatus for copying images printed on both sides of a document onto both sides of copy sheets uses an automatic document conveying device capable of reversing the side of a document to be copied. Also disclosed is a the resuming method of a copying operation after removing a jammed sheet during the reverse side copying step of the both-sided document and the delivering method of the both-sided document when the copying operation is cancelled.

摘要： There is presented an optical screen suitable for taking a picture by placing it between the object and a photosensitive material. The optical screen has a specific means for controlling the difference in transmission density in an optically heterogeneous pattern and/or the specific area of the lower transmission density portions, typically an electrochromic display device. By use of such a single optical screen having a variable optically heterogeneous pattern, cumbersome operations for displacing one screen for another in the prior art can be obviated.

The cores consist essentially of silver halide containing silver iodide, and the shells consist essentially of silver bromide, silver chloride or silver chlorobromide excluding silver iodide. The shells have a thickness of from 0.01 to 0.1.mu.. This light-sensitive silver halide emulsion has high sensitivity and superior covering power.

R.sub.1 represents a halogen atom or a monovalent organic group. R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a low molecular group attached, through a carbon atom, to the 2nd position of the indole ring. "m" represents an integer of zero to 3.

摘要： An image recording system capable of recording a composite image composed of a plurality of partial recording image areas comprises an electrically chargeable image carrier. Image recording area coordinate data is fed into the system to define an area to be recorded and/or image eliminating area coordinate data is fed into the system to define an area to be eliminated. Thereafter, a charge in the charged area of the image carrier is eliminated according to the recording area coordinate area. The same process is carried out for a plurality of desired areas of image data to produce a composite image.
