摘要: A low profile acoustic module is described. Embodiments include a headset acoustic module having first and second chambers. The first chamber has a side wall and first portion of a back wall, and defining a first volume. The side wall defines an opening sized to retain a speaker, and the first chamber defines a first volume. The second chamber is adjacent the first chamber, and comprises an inner wall, a front wall, and a second portion of the back wall, and defining a second volume greater than the first volume. The second volume is fluidly coupled to the first volume via a first set of vents on the inner wall, the second volume is fluidly coupled to an ambient atmosphere via a second set of vents, and the inner wall comprises at least a portion of the side wall.

摘要: A method for wireless communications between an input device and a host. When only displacement data is detected in a period of time, a reduced-size packet is generated with the displacement data while eliminating packet fields corresponding to the other input data. The reduced-size packet is wirelessly transmitted to the host. When other input data is detected in the period of time, a data packet for the other input data is generated with a packet field for the other input data and is wirelessly transmitted to the host.

摘要: A system and method for providing an integrated system of endpoints are described, even though the endpoints are distributed over several locations. A distributed controller operates to link the endpoints together and provide a unified view of endpoints to a conference provider. In addition, the distributed controller can assign the workload of some endpoints to other endpoints that are better able to handle the workload. The distributed controller is implemented by cooperating processes in the endpoints.

摘要: An input device comprises a depressible element with two switches including a first switch configured to generate a first signal when the depressible element is depressed by a threshold distance and a second switch configured to generate a second signal indicating when the depressible element is depressed by the threshold distance and the second switch is in an active state. One or more processors may be configured to receive the first signal from the first switch; configure the second switch to change from an inactive state to an active state in response to receiving the first signal; receive the second signal from the second switch in the active state; determine whether the second signal indicates that the depressible element is depressed by the threshold distance; and generate event data confirming that the depressible element is depressed by the threshold distance in response to receiving the second signal.

摘要: A user input device that includes a rotary input control is described herein. The rotary input control includes first and second ferritic substrates; first and second permanent magnets extending between the first and second ferritic substrates to form a magnetic circuit; one or more magnetizing coils wrapped around the first permanent magnet; and a wheel defining a central volume within which the first and second ferritic substrates, the first and second permanent magnets and the one or more magnetizing coils are positioned. The user input device also includes a control system configured to direct current to the one or more magnetization coils to change a magnetization of the first permanent magnet to adjust a resistance profile of the rotary input control.
