摘要: The technology described herein is directed towards an uplink video streaming technology including for private networks that use low-cost mobile devices with reduced hardware capabilities (RedCap in 3GPP). The technology adapts the video quality (bitrate) from the content producer side based on the device capability data of the content consumer, leveraging that both are co-located in the same network. The technology can use machine learning to identify correlated devices with suboptimal video quality, and to propose new uplink data rate limiting data (e.g., PRB quota) for the content provider, to enforce an updated (e.g., reduced) video quality independent of any streaming application. The technology reduces spectrum loss, energy consumption and video rebuffering that otherwise often occur when videos are generated with high quality beyond the capabilities of the video consumers (e.g., including RedCap devices).

摘要: The present disclosure discloses an audio communication method having two-way high quality audio transmission mechanism that includes steps outlined below. Communication between an audio communication apparatus and an external audio communication apparatus is performed to establish an audio link. An ability negotiation process is performed to determine the external audio communication apparatus supports ACL link technology. A coding negotiation process is performed to negotiate an audio encoding and decoding parameter. An audio delay negotiation process is performed to provide a first audio data delay parameter to the external audio communication apparatus and retrieve a second audio data delay parameter from the external audio communication apparatus to further determine an actual audio data delay parameter. A two-way audio transmission is performed according to the audio encoding and decoding parameter and the actual audio data delay parameter with the external audio communication apparatus.

The processing circuitry exchanges, with a server device and according to a bidirectional protocol for immersive media, a first plurality of messages that ensures the server device to receive one or more specific characteristics of the apparatus. The processing circuitry receives, from the server device and according to the bidirectional protocol for immersive media, a media stream carrying media content. The media stream includes immersive content and is adapted according to the one or more specific characteristics of the apparatus. The processing circuitry presents the media content from the media stream.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for providing ways to optimize client performance during screen data streaming. Periods of time a client takes to render frames can be tracked and the frame rendering times can be analyzed to determine when the client performance is insufficient. If the client rendering performance is determined to be insufficient, the encoding method can be dynamically modified in ways preferable for improving the client rendering performance. Different approaches can be utilized for calculating metrics and determining when to modify the encoding method, such as linear interpolation or by taking averages of frame rendering times in a moving sample window.

A new social-media communication can be generated by identifying a user profile and media to be shared. A signed unform resource locator (URL) and unique identifier may be generated for the new social-media communication to enabling sharing the media with another device. For example, the media may be transcoded into a format based on the processing and/or display capabilities of a device associated with the user profile. The transcoded media may be stored in association with the signed URL. A notification corresponding to the social-media communication may be transmitted to the device associated with the user profile to enable access to the media.

摘要: In various examples, the decoding and upscaling capabilities of a client device are analyzed to determine encoding parameters and operations used by a content streaming server to generate encoded video streams. The quality of the upscaled content of the client device may be monitored by the streaming servers such that the encoding parameters may be updated based on the monitored quality.
