    摘要: A jaw or dog clutch which automatically engages when reaching rotational speed equilibrium possesses an axially displaceable clutch star which is rigidly connected for rotation by means of a first tooth system or set of gear teeth with a drive hub, however, is connected to be axially displaceable, and possesses a second tooth system or set of gear teeth which can be brought to mesh, by axial displacement of the clutch star, with a tooth system or set of teeth, of a power take-off hub. At the clutch star there is rotatably mounted a screw socket which is connected by means of a pair of coarse-pitch threads with the power take-off hub. The screw socket can be entrained in one rotational direction by the clutch star by means of a pawl blocking device. A bearing, by means of which the drive hub and power take-off hub bear upon one another, is arranged radially within the screw socket and forwardly of the remaining parts or components of the jaw clutch to be lubricated located in a channel system where lubricant flows through the jaw clutch under the influence of centrifugal forces. Thus, in all of the operating conditions there is realized, with as low as possible total throughput of lubricant, a sufficient lubrication of all of the components of the jaw clutch.

At the upper housing portion there is rotatably mounted a support or mounting plate for a grinding bowl or receptacle. This support or mounting plate is mounted at the upper housing portion for rotational movement about a substantially vertical axis of rotation. The support or mounting plate is driven by angular gearing, for instance bevel gearing, and planetary gearing arranged in the lower housing portion. The planetary gearing contains an outer central gear which is arranged upon the lower housing portion as a part of the upper housing portion and is constructed as a support ring of an axial bearing for the support or mounting plate.

    摘要: A gripper arrangement for a lifting or hoisting apparatus serves to transport workpieces having a journal or plug-like end. This gripper arrangement or gripper contains a housing in which two slides are essentially symmetrically arranged and radially displaceably guided with respect to a primary or main axis. At each of the slides there is supported a respective clamping or chucking jaw by means of a related guide device which is connected with the related clamping jaw by means of a radial inner hinge joint and with the related slide by means of a radial outer hinge joint which is arranged further towards the outside in axial direction than the radial inner hinge joint. Within the housing there is rotatably mounted a control body member which is operatively coupled with a drive motor. At the control body member there are formed control cams which, during rotation of the control body member, displace the slides. The axial symmetrically displaceable slides render possible, on the one hand, an accommodation of the gripper to workpieces having different journal or plug diameters and, on the other hand, a rapid, rigid or firm and exactly central clamping or chucking of the journal or plug-like end of each individual workpiece which is handled.

A grinding wheel support is mounted at the tool base for pivotable movement about a pivot axis and a grinding wheel is mounted to be rotatably drivable at the grinding wheel support. The axis of rotation of the grinding wheel extends transversely with respect to the aforementioned pivot axis. The grinding wheel support is connected with the tool base by a pivot drive which, during grinding of a tooth flank, enables random changes of the grinding-pressure angle or angle of attack between the grinding wheel and the tooth flank.

As a result, the grinding wheel is effectively disengaged from the tooth flank in the process of being ground in the event of electric power failure and/or pressure failure or an undesirable pressure drop or upon the occurrence of any other disturbance or malfunction of the grinding wheel. Therefore one side of the adjusting cylinder is connected to a return line and the grinding wheel carrier or support is displaced against a stationary stop by a force or pressure accumulator.

    摘要: A gear tooth flank testing apparatus and method wherein there is provided a housing erectable upon a bed or the like of a gear cutting machine. A measuring feeler is moveably arranged at the housing by means of two cross-wire arranged carriages having associated drive and displacement path measuring devices. The measuring feeler is moveable along two coordinated axes intersecting the axis of the workpiece to be tested. A control and evaluation circuit moves the measuring feeler along a tooth flank of the workpiece and compares the actual settings of the measuring feeler with predetermined reference settings. In particular, at the housing there is arranged a feeler bolt which can be pressed in spaced relationship from the measuring feeler against two neighboring tooth flanks of the workpiece. The feeler bolt is guided to be freely moveable by means of two additional cross-wise arranged carriages parallel to both coordinate axes, and each such carriage likewise has operatively associated therewith a displacement path measuring device which is connected with the control and evaluation circuit.
