摘要: An offshore water production facility to be located on a body of water includes a floating object, at least one wind turbine, a power generator that is coupled to the wind turbine and a water production system. The floating object includes a plurality of buoyancy assemblies that support at least one column on which a wind turbine is mounted. On the at least one column further a process equipment deck is mounted below an operating area of the wind turbine and above a water surface level. The water production system is arranged on the process equipment deck, and the water production system is configured for subsea well water-injection and includes an ultra-filtration unit and a membrane de-aeration unit for water to be injected.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an electro-active polymer layer structure including an elastomer layer and at least one electrode layer that is arranged on a first surface of the dielectric elastomer layer, the method including: applying a layer of conductive material on the first surface of the elastomer layer. The layer of conductive material consists of agglomerated graphene based nanoplatelets, having a flattened shape between two main surfaces parallel to the graphene molecular lattice plane. The method further includes: obtaining a texture of the nanoplatelets in the applied layer by orienting the nanoplatelets on the first surface of the elastomer layer with the main surfaces of the nanoplatelets being parallel with the first surface of the elastomer layer, such that the graphene molecular lattice plane of the nanoplatelets is parallel to the first surface of the elastomer layer.

摘要: An electrical energy harvesting system includes at least one variable capacitor, preferably of electro-active polymer, two voltage sources, and a half-bridge network. The voltage sources are arranged in series with an interconnecting node between a first polarity terminal of the first voltage source and a second opposite polarity terminal of the second voltage source. For each variable capacitor the half-bridge network includes a pair of diodes in series with a common node therebetween, connected in parallel with the first voltage source, an inductor connected between the common node and a first terminal of the variable capacitor, a first switch in parallel with the first diode, and a second switch in parallel with the second diode. The second terminal of the variable capacitor is connected to the first polarity terminal of the second voltage source.

摘要: A removable riser hang-off connector is equipped with a flexible element that, in one embodiment, comprises rubber-encapsulated steel plates. The connector is designed for attachment to a hang-off collar provided on a steel catenary riser below the tapered stress joint or flex joint. Connection of the removable riser hang-off connector may be made by an ROV. With the removable riser hang-off connector attached, the tapered stress joint and/or flex joint may be raised out of the water (for inspection, maintenance, repair or replacement) by lifting the upper end of the SCR out of its porch receptacle with a chain jack (or other lifting device) and inserting the removable riser hang-off connector into the porch receptacle. This temporarily supports the SCR in an elevated state with the tapered stress joint and/or flex joint above the surface of the water.

The mooring buoy includes a lower abutment surface. The locking system includes an engagement member below the locking dog, engaging with the lower abutment surface and exerting a downward force. The buoy at positions axially above the upper abutment surface situated at an axial clearance from the cavity wall.
