摘要: An integrated power electronic package includes a cold plate having a microcontroller, driver circuit, and power module embedded within a top surface of the cold plate. A 3D-printed circuit board is printed on and/or around the microcontroller, driver circuit, and power module to create electrical connections between the components. Additional electrical components are mounted to the 3D-printed circuit board to form the integrated power electronics package. The cold plate further includes a hollow interior recess having a plurality of fins. The plurality of fins have varying densities to allow targeted cooling of the microcontroller, driver circuit, and power module embedded in the cold plate.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for monitoring and controlling pump speeds to maintain a balanced pressure drop between each of the multiple fuel cell systems or circuits. In systems where a single radiator is used to maintain desired temperatures of multiple fuel cells, back flow can nevertheless be avoided. Control maps may be used to meet minimum pump speeds as a function of a flow splitting valve position and target flow rate (to prevent or avoid fluid back flow through a fuel cell stack). Control maps may also be used to determine a minimum pump speed as a function of three-way valve position (to prevent fluid back flow across a radiator path).

摘要: System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to improving identification of available parking spaces in congested zones. In one embodiment, a method includes, responsive to receiving trajectory information about movement of a searching vehicle, estimating a search time spent by the vehicle seeking parking in a location. The method includes aggregating, when the search time satisfies a time threshold, the search time with observed times associated with additional entities parking in the location. The method includes updating a parking map according to the observed times when the observed times satisfy a parking threshold indicating a lack of available parking in the location. The parking map identifies active regions where parking is presently lacking. The method includes providing the parking map with the active regions to identified vehicles proximate to locations associated with the active regions.

摘要: Systems and methods for distributed cooperative localization in a connected vehicular platform are disclosed herein. At a first sensor-rich vehicle, one embodiment receives, from a second sensor-rich vehicle via direct vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication, an estimated location of the first sensor-rich vehicle and an associated confidence level; estimates a location of the second sensor-rich vehicle based on first sensor data and assigns a confidence level to the estimated location; transmits to the second sensor-rich vehicle via direct V2V communication, the estimated location of the second sensor-rich vehicle and the assigned confidence level; accepts, based on communication between the first and second sensor-rich vehicles and predetermined acceptance criteria, an assignment to perform localization for a legacy vehicle; estimates a location of the legacy vehicle based on second sensor data; and transmits, to the legacy vehicle, the estimated location of the legacy vehicle.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for modularizing a system. Parallel power systems having electronically isolated high voltage systems facilitate modulization. A control system is provided that optimizes the distribution of a power demand and/or a torque request so as to keep the efficiency, durability, drivability and/or safety of the system within an optimum range. In some cases, the distribution of power is uneven, so as to extend the battery life, while in other cases, the power draw on battery systems are kept equal and constant so as to properly manage the state of charge of the parallel power systems. In still other cases, the chosen power distribution keeps the power demand and/or torque request between minimum and maximum levels/capacity, and the power distribution avoids on/off of an individual power system.

The window can be movable to selectively open and close the opening. The window can include an optical grating operatively positioned near a closing edge of the window. A light source configured to emit light toward the optical grating. A detector operatively positioned to acquire spectroscopic data of the light emitted from the light source after the light has interacted with the optical grating. A processor can be operatively connected to the detector. The processor can be configured to: determine a temperature based on the spectroscopic data; determine, based on the temperature, whether an object is located in the opening; and responsive to determining that an object is located in the opening, control a movement of window.
