摘要: An antenna system for implementation in a wireless communication system such as a mobile device, and a wireless communication system employing such an antenna system, and a related methodology, are disclosed herein. In one example embodiment, a mobile device includes a display, a chassis, and one or more electrical components. The display is provided along a front surface of the mobile device, and the chassis has first and second cavities provided along a rear surface of the mobile device, the rear surface being substantially opposite the front surface. Further, the one or more electrical components is or are supported in between the display and the chassis, and the one or more electrical components provide excitation signals to one or both of the first and second cavities so as to cause electrical fields in accordance with a plurality of modes to occur respectively within the cavities at multiple frequencies, respectively.

摘要: A method of operating a wireless ad hoc network includes configuring an intermediate device with a first linear network code corresponding to a first source device and a second linear network code corresponding to a second source device. The intermediate device is on communication paths from the first source device and the second source device to a plurality of destination devices. The intermediate device receives packet data from either the first source device or from the second source device, and determines whether to apply the first linear network code or the second linear network code to the packet data. The intermediate device generates outgoing packet data and sends the packet data to at least one destination device of the plurality of destination devices using either the first linear network code or the second linear network code.

摘要: An improved turbine over the old horizontal and vertical axis turbines because of its ability to capture several times the amount of wind. The basic design and process of this new machine can also work in the ocean at capturing ocean currents. Being Omni-directional (not having to turn into the wind) gives it one efficiency over the 3 bladed turbine. Another efficiency all embodiments have is its frictionless exponent. This quality helps save on wear and tear and maintenance cost. Most if not all past turbines have a static presents, being built in one basic wind capturing position. This new turbine is more dynamic because it can hide from wind damage and then open to capture more wind than its predecessors.

摘要: An electronic communication device performs a method to detect proximity of an object to the device. The method includes determining a set of mutual coupling values for at least one pair of a plurality of antennas arrays of the electronic communication device. Each mutual coupling value indicates an efficiency of a mutual coupling transmission between an antenna element of a first antenna array of a pair of antenna arrays and an antenna element of a second antenna array of the pair of antenna arrays. The method further includes determining object position relative to the plurality of antenna arrays based on the set of mutual coupling values.

摘要: An apparatus includes a plurality of power distribution control output channels operatively coupled to at least one power source, and comprising an access control input from an access control device, and a control output for a controlled device. A controller receives an access control input signal for each power distribution control output channel and provides a control signal to each power distribution control output channel such that each power distribution control output channel provides a control output signal according to requirements of a corresponding controlled device. The controller can individually isolate one or more power distribution control output channels from the at least one power source such that the control output signal is removed from the corresponding controlled device, while any other power distribution control output channels coupled to the same power source continues to operate without interruption.

摘要: A method of setting up a wireless ad hoc network includes constructing an initial network graph by a source device. The network graph represents the source device, at least one intermediate device, and at least one communication path between the source device and the intermediate device. The initial network graph is sent from the source device to the intermediate device along with an update request. The source device receives a second network graph from the intermediate device in response to sending the initial network graph, and determines an updated network graph by performing a union of the initial network graph and the second network graph. The process is performed by each intermediate device required to reach a destination device.

One or more object templates may be stored in memory. The processor may construct the custom reticle using one or more of the object templates. The processor can determine that an object-of-interest is displayed in the viewfinder and construct a custom reticle for that particular object-of-interest.

For example, the method includes receiving sensor input that indicates an object blocking a first subset of reconfigurable antenna elements but not blocking a second subset of reconfigurable antenna elements of an over-indexed antenna array. The method also includes configuring, based on the sensor input, a number of the antenna elements in the first subset as non-active for radiating energy and a number of the antenna elements in the second subset as active for radiating energy.
