    摘要: An instrument for visual examination of and operation on internal body organs includes a jacket defining an operating end and a longitudinally opposite control end, an outer tube disposed stationary inside the jacket, and an inner tube disposed for a rotation inside the outer tube. A first blade is rigidly connected to the outer tube at the operating end while a second blade is rigidly connected to the inner tube, adjacent the first blade. First fiber optic bundles with polished ends are disposed within a wall thickness of the jacket and diffusers are attached to the polished ends at the control end. Second fiber optic bundles are disposed within the wall thickness of the jacket, interspersed with the first fiber optic bundles. Lenses are attached to selective first fiber optic bundle at the control end. A mechanism is positioned at the control end and coupled to the first and second blades.

    摘要: An adapter for attaching a slatwall accessory to a pegboard comprises a first region with an elongated aperture being sized and shaped to receive an offset portion of the slatwall accessory therethrough, two hooks disposed on one edge of the first region and being configured to attach the adapter to the pegboard, a second region extending from the first region in a vertical direction and being offset therefrom in a direction away from the pegboard, during use of the adapter, and a flange terminating the second region and being configured to abut a surface of the pegboard during use of the adapter. The flange can be replaced with a third region to receive another flange of the slatwall accessory and a fourth region to detachably attach a bottom of the adapter to the pegboard. The adapter can be configured as a rail to attach a plurality of the slatwall accessories.

    摘要: A sensor measures slump and rheological characteristics of the concrete and is connected to a system that adjusts the slump by monitoring the sensor within the interior surface of a concrete mixer and controlling liquid additions. Data is analyzed by a computer processing unit to determine the slump and rheological characteristics of the concrete, liquid required to meet the slump requirements. The measurement done by the sensor is more accurate then the existing methods because it brings into consideration the effect of the helix inside the mixer on the movement of the concrete mixture inside the mixer. Furthermore, this method also allows the operation of the sensor in “real” life situations where the rotation speed of the mixer can't be maintained at a fixed value. The fact that the sensor rotates with the drum and that the concrete mixture is pushed to the bottom of the mixing drum guaranties that all the concrete is “sampled” by comparing results collected from each revolution of the mixing drum.
