摘要: Silicon particles for active materials and electro-chemical cells are provided. The active materials comprising silicon particles described herein can be utilized as an electrode material for a battery. In certain embodiments, the composite material includes greater than 0% and less than about 90% by weight of silicon particles. The silicon particles have an average particle size between about 0.1 μm and about 30 μm and a surface including nanometer-sized features. The composite material also includes greater than 0% and less than about 90% by weight of one or more types of carbon phases. At least one of the one or more types of carbon phases is a substantially continuous phase.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for high volume roll-to-roll direct coating of electrodes for silicon-dominant anode cells. A slurry that includes silicon particles and a binder material may be applied to a current collector film, and the slurry may be processed to form a precursor composite film coated on the current collector film. The current collector film with the coated precursor composite film may be rolled into a precursor composite roll. A heat treatment may be applied to the current collector film with the coated precursor composite film in an environment including nitrogen gas, to convert the coated precursor composite film to a pyrolyzed composite film coated on the current collector film. The heat treatment may include applying the heat treatment to the precursor composite roll in whole and/or applying the heat treatment to the current collector film with the coated precursor composite film as it is continuously fed.

摘要: A radiation reduction system that includes a computer and an imaging device configured to provide an image of a subject during a medical procedure using electromagnetic radiation. A variety of inputs are accepted from the medical practitioner using the computer such as subject body type, weight, and the like. These user inputs are used by the computer to determine operating settings that are transmitted to the imaging device either manually, a wired connection or wirelessly. The calculated settings are useful to generate one or more medically useful images of the subject while significantly reducing the overall radiation exposure to the subject and/or the personnel and/or medical practitioner.

摘要: Systems and methods for remote control of a weld schedule of a welding power supply are disclosed. In some examples, a remote device is provided for monitoring or controlling the welding power supply, which controls and delivers power to one or more welding tools (e.g., a welding torch) and/or accessories (e.g., a wire feeder). The remote device includes a user interface to receive one or more inputs, which are provided to a control circuitry configured to transmit signals to or receive signals from the welding power supply via a remote transceiver. In some examples, the signals include data corresponding to one or more weld schedules.
