摘要: Provided is a Fall Arrest Staple that includes a slanted base with a flat welding surface and an integral ring section extending from the base that is constructed from aluminum with a maximum internal radii that is capable of accepting a small carabineer. The staple can be welded to an aluminum pole, such as a 4″OD×0.25″ mast that is found on a ship. Advantages provided by the staple include the ability of welding in a perpendicular orientation to a ship deck (in the direction of a fall), welding to a curved aluminum backing plate, and the use of the staple with a curved backing plate that can be welded directly to a ship mast.

摘要: The invention relates to quick acting interfaces that allow for easier transportation and maintenance of precision rifles. Embodiments include an interface with an engaging segment and a receiving segment that engage one another and lock together. The engaging segment may have a series of connective bearings that fit into indentations inside the receiving segment. Embodiments allow a firearm to be modulated such that a barrel of the firearm may be disassembled without the need of any specialized equipment and reassembled without impacting the firearm's accuracy or reliability. Embodiments are scalable such that multiple interfaces can be used to adjust the total length of the firearm barrel.

摘要: The present invention relates to a firearm projectile capable of releasing a secondary payload mid-flight through a pyrotechnic timing mechanism. Once the firearm is fired, the powder in the casing pushes out the projectile as a typical round. In addition, the powder ignites the delay column. The formulation and amount of delay pyrotechnics determines the delay time. When the delay column is burned, the final portion ignites an expelling charge. The expelling charge builds pressure in the projectile casing and separates the base plug from the main projectile housing. The expelling assembly pushes out the secondary payload out the rear of the projectile. Although the payload exits the rear of the projectile at minimum velocity, the net velocity of the payload is still in the forward direction.
