    摘要: Disclosed wireless networks, wireless devices and methods may provide adaptive spatial reuse to optimize communications performance. In one illustrative embodiment, a wireless network station includes: a baseband processor that frames data units for wireless transmission to a given station; and a radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) that couples the baseband processor to one or more antennas. The baseband processor systematically assigns wireless transmission settings to different intervals of data unit transmission to the given station to periodically evaluate a performance for each combination of wireless transmission setting values, the assignment causing settings associated with enhanced performance to be employed with an increased probability or duration.

    摘要: Accordingly, there are disclosed herein architectures and communication methods that enable mass-manufactured cables to perform robustly at per-lane PAM4 symbol rates up to 56 GBd and beyond. One illustrative cable embodiment includes conductor pairs connected between a first connector and a second connector. The first and second connectors are each adapted to fit into an Ethernet port of a corresponding host device to receive from that host device an electrical input signal conveying an inbound data stream to the cable, and to provide to that host device an electrical output signal conveying an outbound data stream from the cable. The first and second connectors each include a respective transceiver that performs clock and data recovery on the electrical input signal to extract and re-modulate the inbound data stream for transit via the conductor pairs as a respective electrical transit signal conveying a transit data stream.

    摘要: A method of view selection in a teleconferencing environment includes receiving a frame of image data from an optical sensor such as a camera, detecting one or more conference participants within the frame of image data, and identifying an interest region for each of the conference participants. Identifying the interest region comprises estimating head poses of participants to determine where a majority of the participants are looking and determining if there is an object in that area. If a suitable object is in the area at which the participants are looking, such as a whiteboard or another person, the image data corresponding to the object will be displayed on a display device or sent to a remote teleconference endpoint.

    摘要: Disclosed wireless systems, devices, and methods can leverage existing hardware for BLE communications to provide a low-latency streaming (LLS) link suitable for supporting CROS and BiCROS features in hearing aids. An illustrative embodiment of a low-latency audio streaming method includes: (a) sending intermittent packets of digital audio data as a wireless signal; and (b) for each intermittent packet: (A) listening for a responsive packet; and (B) sending the digital audio data in a retransmitted packet only if no responsive packet is detected. Any retransmitted packet that is sent follows the corresponding intermittent packet with a delay no greater than a length of two interframe spacing (IFS) intervals separated by a responsive packet. An illustrative embodiment of a low-latency audio streaming device includes a transmit chain and a receive chain. The transmit chain periodically transmits intermittent packets of digital audio data as a wireless signal. The receive chain operates to detect a responsive packet to each intermittent packet. The transmit chain retransmits a packet of digital audio data each time the receive chain fails to detect a responsive packet, ensuring a delay no greater than a length of two IFS intervals separated by a responsive packet.

    摘要: A system and method for retaining a linear actuator on a crane component such as a mast is disclosed. In the system a retaining mechanism is mounted on either a body of the linear actuator or the crane component and a catch is mounted to the other of the body or the crane component. Retraction of a rod of the linear actuator causes a cap on the rod to contact the retaining mechanism, which causes the retaining mechanism to move into a latched configuration securing the linear actuator.

    摘要: The method for well-stimulation through a wellbore in a rock formation is hydraulic fracturing under high temperature conditions. The method includes injecting a fracturing fluid system to the rock formation; fracturing the rock formation at a temperature between 150-260 degrees Celsius; and recovering fluid components of the fracturing fluid system from the wellbore and setting the proppant in the fractures. The fracturing fluid system includes proppant and a plurality of fluid components. The fluid components can include water, a gelling agent, and a stabilizer made of ascorbic acid ranging from 50-100 ppt so as to adjust pH and delay said cross linking agent.

    摘要: A negative voltage backflow direct current supply system for a rail transport is provided. The system adds a negative voltage return line and a DC converter for realizing negative voltage backflow current based on traditional DC power supply system. The negative voltage backflow line replaces the backflow line of running rail in the traditional DC power supply system, which can greatly reduce or eliminate the stray current in the traditional DC power supply system and the negative influence of too high ground potential of running rail. At the same time, the DC converter can be used as regenerative braking energy storage device of train to improve the regenerative braking energy utilization efficiency of DC power supply system and maintain the voltage stability of DC power supply system of rail transport.
