摘要: Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to systems and methods for generating multi-view interactive digital media representations in a virtual reality environment. According to particular embodiments, a plurality of images is fused into a first content model and a first context model, both of which include multi-view interactive digital media representations of objects. Next, a virtual reality environment is generated using the first content model and the first context model. The virtual reality environment includes a first layer and a second layer. The user can navigate through and within the virtual reality environment to switch between multiple viewpoints of the content model via corresponding physical movements. The first layer includes the first content model and the second layer includes a second content model and wherein selection of the first layer provides access to the second layer with the second content model.

摘要: In an exemplary method performed at an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display. The method includes concurrently displaying a first application and a second application on the touch-sensitive display. The method also includes detecting a first contact at a border between the concurrently displayed first and second applications. Immediately following detecting the first contact: detecting a gesture from a location of the first contact towards an edge of the touch-sensitive display. Upon detecting the gesture: selecting a fixed display area from a plurality of predefined fixed display areas for the second application; automatically resizing the second application to the selected fixed display area; and automatically resizing the first application to occupy substantially all of a remaining area of the touch-sensitive display.

摘要: A system for enterprise collaboration is associated with an overlay network, such as a content delivery network (CDN). The overlay network comprises machines capable of ingress, forwarding and broadcasting traffic, together with a mapping infrastructure. The system comprises a front-end application, a back-end application, and set of one or more APIs through which the front-end application interacts with the back-end application. The front-end application is a web or mobile application component that provides one or more collaboration functions. The back-end application comprises a signaling component that maintains state information about each participant in a collaboration, a connectivity component that manages connections routed through the overlay network, and a multiplexing component that manages a multi-peer collaboration session to enable an end user peer to access other peers' media streams through the overlay network rather than directly from another peer. Peers preferably communicate with the platform using WebRTC. A collaboration manager component enables users to configure, manage and control their collaboration sessions.

摘要: A video server is configured to convert frame data of a spherical image to frame data of a equirectangular image such that a first area corresponding to a field of view received from a client device is a middle area of the equirectangular image. The video server is further configured to scale the first area at a first resolution, scale a second area of the equirectangular image adjacent to the first area at a second resolution smaller than the first resolution, scale a third area of the equirectangular image that is adjacent to the first area and is not adjacent to the second area, at a third resolution smaller than the first resolution, and rearrange the scaled first area, second area and third area such that the scaled second area and the scaled third area are adjacent to each other, to generate reformatted equirectangular image frame data to be encoded.

摘要: A service management system communicates via wide area network with gateway devices located at respective user premises. The service management system remotely manages delivery of application services, which can be voice controlled, by a gateway, e.g. by selectively activating/deactivating service logic modules in the gateway. The service management system also may selectively provide secure communications and exchange of information among gateway devices and among associated endpoint devices. An exemplary service management system includes a router connected to the network and one or more computer platforms, for implementing management functions. Examples of the functions include a connection manager for controlling system communications with the gateway devices, an authentication manager for authenticating each gateway device and controlling the connection manager and a subscription manager for managing applications services and/or features offered by the gateway devices. A service manager, controlled by the subscription manager, distributes service specific configuration data to authenticated gateway devices.

摘要: Embodiments are provided for receiving media content based on the user media preferences. An example implementation includes a one or more servers receiving data representing a guest list for an upcoming event corresponding to a first user account, the guest list indicating multiple guests corresponding to respective second user accounts of a second cloud service and querying one or more streaming media services for music preferences corresponding to the multiple guests. The one or more servers receive, from the one or more streaming media services, data representing respective music preferences corresponding to the multiple guests and generate a playlist of audio tracks based on the received respective music preferences corresponding to the multiple guests. During the event, the server(s) cause the playlist to be queued in a playback queue for playback by one or more playback devices of a particular media playback system registered with the first user account.

摘要: Embodiments are directed to segmentation and hierarchical clustering of video. In an example implementation, a video is ingested to generate a multi-level hierarchical segmentation of the video. In some embodiments, the finest level identifies a smallest interaction unit of the video—semantically defined video segments of unequal duration called clip atoms. Clip atom boundaries are detected in various ways. For example, speech boundaries are detected from audio of the video, and scene boundaries are detected from video frames of the video. The detected boundaries are used to define the clip atoms, which are hierarchically clustered to form a multi-level hierarchical representation of the video. In some cases, the hierarchical segmentation identifies a static, pre-computed, hierarchical set of video segments, where each level of the hierarchical segmentation identifies a complete set (i.e., covering the entire range of the video) of disjoint (i.e., non-overlapping) video segments with a corresponding level of granularity.

摘要: Systems and methods of processing and streaming a virtual reality video using a graphics processing unit (GPU) are provided. A video server is configured to cause a processor to read, from a video data source, source video data including multiple spherical image frame data and store the source video data in a first memory. The video server is further configured to cause the GPU to convert, in response to storing first spherical image frame data in a first frame buffer of a second memory, the first spherical image frame data to first equirectangular image frame data that correspond to a portion of spherical image represented by the first spherical image frame data, encode the converted first equirectangular image frame data and store the encoded first equirectangular image frame data in an encoded frame buffer of the second memory.
