    摘要: A mouth guard including a top mouth piece for engaging the top teeth and a bottom mouth piece for engaging the bottom teeth. The mouth guard also includes a central section having one or more ports for receiving an endotracheal tube, oral gastric tube, and/or oral suction tube. In a first preferred embodiment, a top portion of the central section is attached to the top mouth piece, and a bottom portion of the central section is attached to the bottom mouth piece. In a second preferred embodiment, the entire central section is attached to the bottom mouth piece. The top and bottom mouth pieces are capable of interlocking via male engaging members and female recesses.

    摘要: An auger-type poultry chiller having an auger with multiple long-pitch auger blades. The blades of the auger create pockets that spiral around the auger shaft and extend the length of the auger. While the product in the chiller is locked into a certain pocket, it is not locked into a certain spot lengthwise in the chiller. The product, therefore, is able to distribute evenly along the length of the chiller within its pocket even if there are gaps in loading time or if unloading stops momentarily.

    摘要: A method for modeling the performance of a laterally diffused metal oxide semiconductor (LDMOS) device across a wide temperature range is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of positioning the device in an environment chamber operable to create a plurality of environment temperatures; connecting the pins of the device to a measurement system operable to measure at least one device characteristic; operating the environment chamber to set a series of four environment temperatures, acquiring a value of the device characteristic from the measurement system at each temperature, and extracting a temperature parameter set based on the value of the device characteristic at each temperature, then generating a temperature-scaling model for the device.

    摘要: An adjustable sharpener including a body having two sharpening slots, a first arm with a first abrasive element connected to a second arm with a second abrasive element, and a third arm with a third abrasive element connected to a fourth arm with a fourth abrasive element. The first and second abrasive elements are positioned in the first sharpening slot, and the third and fourth abrasive elements are positioned in the second sharpening slot. The adjustable sharpener also includes an adjuster connected to the body and an adjustment assembly connected to the adjuster, the first arm and the third arm. Linear movement of the adjuster causes rotational movement of the first arm and the third arm. In this regard, the adjuster allows the user to manually increase or decrease the sharpening angle between the abrasive elements in the sharpening slots.

    摘要: A process for synthesizing nano-sized rutile, anatase, or a mixture of rutile and anatase TiO2 powder. The process includes the steps of: 1) forming a Ti-peroxo complex by mixing H2O2 with a Ti compound, and 2) heating the Ti-peroxo complex at a temperature of above 50° C. A primary particle size of TiO2 particles, synthesized by the method, is below 50 nm, and an agglomerated particle size thereof after a washing/dry process is below about 10 μm. The major characteristics of the present invention are that it is a low temperature process, a highly concentrated synthesis, and high production yield of above 90%.
