Abstract:
One embodiment of a terminal device according to the present invention comprises a moving image acquiring means for acquiring the moving image of a measured subject on which a sensor is installed, a sensor data acquisition means for acquiring sensor data from the sensor about said measured subject and a display control means for overlaying and displaying said moving image and additional images that are generated from said sensor data. The embodiment provides a terminal device capable of effectively checking a player's motion.
Abstract:
A swing analyzer is disclosed. The swing analyzer may be used to analyze the swing an object such as a golf club. The swing analyzer accounts for individual differences between users and/or sensors to improve performance. The swing analyzer includes a motion sensor that is attachable to the object. The motion sensor communicates wirelessly with a terminal device. The terminal device includes a swing analysis unit for performing swing analysis based on sensor data output from the motion sensor. The swing analyzer determines a target line based on position of the motion sensor while a user is at the address posture before a swing. The target line is used as a reference to provide swing analyses.

Abstract:
A mobile terminal 20 receives a scene notification message via a communication network 10. The scene notification message at least includes scene identification information for identifying a scene corresponding to a part of a broadcast program, broadcast identification information on the time-difference broadcast of the scene, and URL information for accessing a server in which scene data is stored. Based on the scene notification message, the mobile terminal 20 receives a time-difference broadcast if it is a time at which the scene can be viewed by the time-difference broadcast and, if not, accesses a server 48, in which the data of the scene is stored, to acquire the data of the scene.
Abstract:
A method and system for preventing replay attacks on secure data transactions. A replay attack occurs when an unauthorized user intercepts a secure data transaction between a device and a central system and uses the intercepted data to gain access to the central system. One method for preventing such replay attacks is the use of a unique session identification number that is generated for each secure data transaction request. A replay attack is defeated using intercepted data since the unique session identification number is valid only for a completed session and may not be reused. When a device is connected to a server using either wireless or land-line connection, the device requests a session identification number from the server. The server generates and signals to the device a unique session identification number which the device then transmits back to the server along with a request for a secure data transaction. Upon verification of the correct unique session identification number, the server implements the requested data transaction. Termination of the requested transaction by the device signals the termination of the current secure data transaction. A new unique session identification number must be requested and issued in like fashion for any additional secure data transactions. The method and system offer the advantage of use with multiple available servers, in contrast to present methods which require that a device to communicate with a given server. Further, the present method offers reduced operation time since there is a single coupling/uncoupling for each data transaction.
Abstract:
A method and system utilizing both coordinate stroke data and associated pressure information for improved handwriting recognition. The method and system can also be applied to all types of handwriting-based data entry applications and also to user authentication. The digitizer pad used in the computer system gives both spatial information and associated pressure data when a stroke is being drawn thereon, e.g., by a stylus. Pressure information can be used to differentiate between different character sets and can also be used to adjust any display attribute, such as character font size, font selection, color, italic, bold, underline, shadow, language, etc.
Abstract:
Provided are a photography aid tool and a skin photographing device used for photographing skin. A main body is used for photographing skin with a portable device having a photographing device and an illumination device, and is composed of a front plate, a rear plate and a plurality of side plates. The main body has an insertion opening, a partition plate with two openings, and a portable device holder for holding the portable device. A polarizing filter is provided at the opening of the partition plate. The portable device is held by the portable device holder, and the skin photographing window of the front plate is in contact with the skin. The skin surface is photographed using only the light from the illumination device of the portable device while light outside the main body is blocked.
Abstract:
A motorcycle saddlebag mounting device having a restricting means for staggering timings of yawing occurring in a motorcycle body and resonance caused by lateral swing of a saddlebag is provided. The restricting means is provided between a support bracket mounted to a seat rail and a saddlebag mounting frame rotatably mounted to the support bracket. Rotation of the frame with respect to the support bracket is restricted, so that resonance caused by yawing of the motorcycle body and lateral swing of the saddlebag is cancelled out.
