摘要: An auxetic member for load bearing structures has a section including a plurality of structural units, and a top layer provided at a top end of the section and a bottom layer provided at a bottom end of the section. The structural units includes ribs with parallel surfaces and ribs with re-entrant surfaces and the ribs with parallel surfaces of the structural units are oriented at an angle α relative to a horizontal plane, the structural unit including a void enclosed by the ribs with parallel surfaces and ribs with re-entrant surfaces. The member is characterized in that the void of the structural units is filled with a packing material for improving load bearing capacity.

摘要: A composition and method of preparing the composition for rapid and effective hemostasis is provided. The composition includes a first agent to induce platelet plug formation, a second to induce vasoconstriction and a third agent for activation of coagulation cascade. The composition comprises of 0.01% to 5% of chitosan; 0.01% to 0.25% of potassium aluminum sulphate; and 0.01% to 0.25% calcium salt. The clotting time of the composition is in the range of 30s to 140s. A method of preparing the hemostatic composition is further disclosed. The composition is configured to control hemorrhage from oozing and pressured bleeding injury any site in human/animal body.

摘要: The invention discloses a method of reducing Denial of Service (DoS) attack in an Internet of Things (IoT) system. The method provides real time communication between a sender node and receiver node by multiplexing control channel (that uses voice traffic) and data channel (that uses internet protocol traffic). Further an IoT system is disclosed. The communication channel between the sender node and the receiver node is configured to divide into a control channel to perform a handshake to the receiver node and data channel to carry data. Also to prevent DoS attack ports are changed periodically using the control channel. The advantages include reduced DoS attack in the network, low memory footprint of less than 2 KB and the communication is real time. The system and method may be used in commercial IoT deployments like environmental monitoring, smart grid, smart cities and health care.

摘要: The invention discloses compositions, methods and kits for use in treatment of diseases associated with CNS inflammation such as multiple sclerosis. The composition includes therapeutically effective amount of (1-H indazole-4yl-)methanol. Further, a method of inhibiting glial maturation factor beta (GMF-β) phosphorylation activity in cells is disclosed. 摘要: The disclosure in various embodiments is related to a peptide nucleic acid monomer (VI) and an improved process for preparation of PNA (VI) using nosyl-group containing starting material. The process includes reacting amino acid with a nosyl group. The nosyl protected amino acid is alkylated with 2-(Boc-amino)ethyl bromide to obtain an intermediate. The nosyl group of the obtained intermediate is removed to form a PNA backbone. The PNA backbone upon addition of a modified nucleobase results in the formation of a PNA monomer (VI). The obtained PNA monomer exhibits either chiral or achiral geometric properties.

摘要: The invention discloses non-iodinated radiopaque microbeads that may be used in image guided embolization in a subject ailing with tumor. The non-iodinated radiopaque microbeads include a ceramic material doped with a CT contrast agent or a MRI contrast agent or both. The doped ceramic is blended with a polymer and the blend is electrosprayed to form the radiopaque microbeads. Further the radiopaque microbeads are radiolabeled with a radioactive isotope. Methods of synthesis of the radiopaque microspheres are also disclosed. The non-iodinated radiopaque microbeads with radiolabeling are capable of rendering an imageable computed tomography (CT) contrast or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast when administered in a subject. Also the microspheres are biodegradable and hence the treatment could be repeated in case of recurrence of the tumor in the subject.
