    摘要: In a lens actuator on which a first lens and a second lens are mounted, since the first lens and the second lens are disposed side by side, a problem is involved such that the lens actuator is bulky. The present invention provides a lens actuator comprising a first lens and a second lens having different optical paths, disposed between a light emitting element and an object lens, a holder for holding the first lens and second lens such that the optical axes of the first lens and second lens are parallel to each other, and a driving mechanism for driving the first lens and second lens each in the optical axis directions, wherein the first lens and second lens have respective outer periphery parts respectively outside the effective diameter, and the outer periphery parts of the first lens and the second lens are disposed to be partially overlapped with each other when viewed from the first lens and second lens optical axis direction.

    摘要: It is an object of this invention to increase the rigidity of a movable part and decrease its weight. An objective lens driving apparatus has an objective lens which focuses light on the recording surface of an optical disk. The objective lens is driven by focusing coils in directions approaching and receding from the optical disk and is driven by tracking coils in the radial direction of the optical disk. The objective lens is held by a lens holder. A projecting part projecting outward from the outer side surfaces of the lens holder is formed around the entire peripheral edge of the bottom surface of the lens holder.

    摘要: In an optical pick-up used in common with DVD/CD and BD, when the thickness is intended to be reduced by mounting a total reflection mirror, a cavity for passing through a laser light is necessary and, since this decreases the degree of freedom for arranging tracking coils and magnets and secondary resonance caused by a magnetic thrust in the tracking direction tends to be generated, an improvement therefor is necessary. In a lens coil holder of the optical pick-up having an objective lens and tracking coil mounted thereon each of the coils is arranged such that the thrust relative to the vertical center of the suspension wires that support the lens coil holder is well balanced. For example, most of the portion of the tracking coils is situated at one height relative to the suspension wire and the tilt coil is situated at the other remaining height.

    摘要: Disclosed is a device for driving an objective lens of an optical disk apparatus in both the tracking direction and the focusing direction. The device comprises a rocker arm supported rotatably and axially slidably by a supporting shaft and carrying the objective lens on its front end, a pair of first coils disposed on both sides respectively of an end on rear end of the rocker arm remote from the front end carrying the objective lens for driving the objective lens in the tracking direction, and a second coil mounted to the lower surface of the rocker arm for driving the objective lens in the focusing direction. A pair of magnets for producing a magnetic field for driving the objective lens in the focusing direction and a magnetic field for driving the objective lens in the tracking direction are mounted to a pair of yokes erected on both sides of the supporting shaft respectively. Current is supplied to the first coils to produce moments of rotation rotating the rocker arm thereby driving the objective lens in the tracking direction, and current is supplied to the second coil to move the rocker arm in the axial direction of the supporting shaft thereby driving the objective lens in the focusing direction.

    摘要: An optical pickup that can be downsized is suggested.The optical pickup includes: a collimator lens positioned on an optical path of a laser beam between a laser diode and an objective lens; and a collimator lens moving unit for moving the collimator lens along the optical path of the laser beam in a direction approaching the objective lens or a direction moving away from the objective lens; wherein a reference position of the collimator lens where the laser beam which has transmitted the collimator lens becomes parallel rays is set at an end or an approximately end of a movable range of the collimator lens that is closest to the objective lens; and wherein the objective lens is formed so that spherical aberration occurring in the laser beam which is made to converge on an outermost recording layer of the multilayered optical disc that is closest to the objective lens can be cancelled by spherical aberration occurring in the laser beam entering the objective lens through the collimator lens located at the reference position.
