    摘要: In an optical pick-up used in common with DVD/CD and BD, when the thickness is intended to be reduced by mounting a total reflection mirror, a cavity for passing through a laser light is necessary and, since this decreases the degree of freedom for arranging tracking coils and magnets and secondary resonance caused by a magnetic thrust in the tracking direction tends to be generated, an improvement therefor is necessary. In a lens coil holder of the optical pick-up having an objective lens and tracking coil mounted thereon each of the coils is arranged such that the thrust relative to the vertical center of the suspension wires that support the lens coil holder is well balanced. For example, most of the portion of the tracking coils is situated at one height relative to the suspension wire and the tilt coil is situated at the other remaining height.

The optical pickup apparatus is capable of performing at least either recording or reproduction on/from two kinds of information recording/reproduction media that are different from each other in thickness of substrate using a laser beam emitted from the identical light emitting device, and is small in size.

    摘要: An optical pick-up apparatus of the invention is structured, for example, such as to have a plurality of light sources emitting light fluxes having different wavelengths from each other, an objective lens for focusing each of the light fluxes emitted from a plurality of light sources onto the information recording surface of the information recording medium, and an optical element reflecting a first light flux input from a predetermined direction, and a second light flux input from a different position in the direction of the optical axis of the objective lens in an inverse side to the side to which the first light flux is input, approximately in parallel to the direction of the optical axis of the objective lens. Accordingly, the invention provides a compact optical pick-up apparatus which can execute at least one of recording and reproduction with respect to a plurality of information recording and reproducing mediums having different wavelengths for recording or reproducing light.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus including an image bearing member, a charger, an irradiator, a developing device, a transfer device, a neutralizer, and a varying device is provided. The neutralizer is adapted to neutralize the image bearing member by emitting neutralization light thereto, after a toner image formed on the image bearing member is transferred therefrom. The varying device is adapted to vary an amount of the neutralization light to be emitted to the image bearing member by pulse-width modulation of a voltage to be supplied to the neutralizer. The image forming apparatus satisfies the following formula: f/V>5 wherein f (Hz) represents a frequency of the pulse-width modulation and V (mm/s) represents a linear speed of the image bearing member.
