    摘要: An automated screening and splining apparatus for continuously seating an elongated flexible spline material in a screen frame having a screen retaining channel along first, second, third and fourth perimeter sides and corners of the screen frame and defining a spline sealing area within the screen retaining channel for receiving spline material therein, and the screen frame having first, second, third and fourth perimeter edges, comprising: (a) frame assembly; (b) slide carriage device mounted on the structural support device having first moving device for latitudinal movement along a y-axis between a third position and a second position, and for latitudinal movement along the y-axis between third position and fourth position; and the slide carriage device having second moving device for longitudinal movement along an x-axis between a second position and a third position, and for longitudinal movement along the x-axis between a fourth position and first position; and (c) a spline dispensing head assembly mounted on the slide carriage device for supplying the spline material to the screen retaining channel of the screen frame in a continuous splining cycle, as the slide carriage device move from the first position to the second position, to the third position, to the fourth position and then return to the first position in a continuous, uninterrupted cycle.

    摘要: A non-contact extrusion nozzle head for applying sealant material to a U-shaped receiving channel defined by two panes of glass and a spacer frame for forming an insulated glass assembly. The non-contact extrusion nozzle head includes a nozzle head housing having a nozzle inlet channel extending into the nozzle head housing, and the nozzle head housing having a nozzle extension member mounted thereon. The nozzle extension member has a nozzle outlet channel formed therein which is connected to the nozzle inlet channel for receiving sealant material from the nozzle inlet channel. The nozzle head housing further includes an interior chamber formed in the nozzle extension member which has a nozzle outlet opening, the interior chamber being connected to the nozzle outlet channel for receiving sealant material therefrom. The nozzle outlet opening applies sealant material to fill the space defined by the U-shaped receiving channel between the two panes of glass and the spacer frame.

    摘要: An apparatus for applying sealant material continuously to an insulated glass panel assembly having a spacer frame with first, second, third and forth perimeter edges and corners defining a sealing area for receiving sealant material therein. The appartus includes a swivel dispensing head assembly (500) having a dispensing nozzle (502) thereon for applying sealant material in a continuous motion to the sealing area of the first, second, third and forth perimeter edge of the spacer frame of the insulted glass panel assembly. The swivel dispensing head assembly (500) includes a swivel rotation member sub-assembly (510) for swiveling and rotating the dispensing nozzle (502) around each of the first, second, third and forth corners of the spacer frame of the insulated glass panel assembly, wherein the dispensing nozzle applies the sealant material within the sealing area of the spacer frame; and also includes a dispensing valve sub-assembly (530) for transferring and controlling the flow movement of the sealant material from a sealant material drum via a material supply hose to the dispensing nozzle. The apparatus additionally includes a frame assembly having a frame housing with an air float tabletop and a glass air float and suction assembly having a plurality of air hose members for supplying air to support and float the insulated glass panel assembly.

    摘要: A splining apparatus for seating an elongated flexible spline in the screen retaining channel of a screen frame to secure flexible screen material thereto, including a work support assembly for receiving and holding the screen frame, and a carriage assembly for longitudinal movement between a first position and a second position. The splining apparatus further includes a screen roll feed holder assembly for supplying screen material located at the first position; and a spline roll holder for supplying spline material located at the second position. The carriage assembly supports a spline head assembly for supplying the spline to the screen frame as the carriage assembly moves from the second position to the first position. The spline head assembly includes a spline wheel sub-assembly for inserting and seating the spline into the screen retaining channel as the carriage assembly and the spline head assembly move from the first position to the second position. The spline head assembly also includes a spline cutter sub-assembly for cutting the spline at the second position after the spline and screen material have been seated in the screen retaining channel. The splining apparatus also includes an electronic sensor for sensing the end of the screen frame and for stopping the movement of the spline head assembly at the second position.

    摘要: An apparatus is provided for applying sealant material to an insulated glass panel assembly having first, second, third and fourth edges for receiving sealant material therein, which includes a sealant assembly for applying sealant material to the insulated glass panel assembly. A glass advance assembly is provided for advancing and moving forward the insulated glass panel assembly into the sealant assembly for applying sealant material thereto. The sealant assembly for applying sealant material includes a first sealant dispensing assembly and a second sealant dispensing assembly for applying sealant material to the first, second, third and fourth edges of the insulated glass panel assembly. The apparatus further includes an upper head slide sub-assembly for moving the first sealant dispensing assembly in an upward vertical direction for applying sealant material to the first edge of the insulated glass panel assembly, and in a downward vertical direction parallel to the upward direction for applying sealant material to the third edge of the insulated glass panel assembly. The apparatus also includes a pinch roller assembly for moving the insulated glass panel assembly through the sealant assembly while the first and second sealant dispensing assemblies are applying sealant material to the second and fourth edges of the insulated glass panel assembly, respectively. Additionally, the apparatus includes an output roller assembly for moving the sealed insulated glass panel assembly out of the sealant assembly.
