    摘要: The invention concerns the field of window seals to be encased in a frame, in general a motor vehicle door frame. The seal is intended to be in contact with part of the perimeter of a window and comprises a guide slot strip consisting of two upward segments and an upper segment, and a sealing strip extending between a low part of one of said upward segments and a high part of the other of said upward segments. The sealing strip is molded in a single piece and comprises an upward curved part, and is attached at least at its upper end to one of the upward segments of the guide slot strip.

    摘要: Novel window and patio door frame members are formed by an extrusion process that provide these members with at least one channel and with an outer weather resistant surface and an internal imitation wood surface together with integrated sealing strips formed in the channels for the doors, these components being fully integrated. The process is carried out by extruding a foamed profile with a channel through a first die therein having reduced dimensions where a protective shell is desired, co-extruding a plastic with said foamed profile in a second die to form a protective shell where the reduced dimensions occur, passing the co-extrusion though a calibration die, and then heating the co-extrusion at selected location where weather stripping is desired and then passing the co-extrusion through a final die where plastic weather stripping is extruded therewith and then cooling the integrated member.

    摘要: A non-contact extrusion nozzle head for applying sealant material to a U-shaped receiving channel defined by two panes of glass and a spacer frame for forming an insulated glass assembly. The non-contact extrusion nozzle head includes a nozzle head housing having a nozzle inlet channel extending into the nozzle head housing, and the nozzle head housing having a nozzle extension member mounted thereon. The nozzle extension member has a nozzle outlet channel formed therein which is connected to the nozzle inlet channel for receiving sealant material from the nozzle inlet channel. The nozzle head housing further includes an interior chamber formed in the nozzle extension member which has a nozzle outlet opening, the interior chamber being connected to the nozzle outlet channel for receiving sealant material therefrom. The nozzle outlet opening applies sealant material to fill the space defined by the U-shaped receiving channel between the two panes of glass and the spacer frame.
