    摘要: In a method of incinerating waste material in a parallel flow process wherein hot exhaust gases are conducted above a combustion chamber grate in the same direction as the material is moved on the grate, different temperatures zones are maintained to which air is admitted from the bottom through the grate such that a temperature of less than 900.degree. C. is maintained in a first zone which is a drying zone, a temperature of about 1000.degree. C. is maintained in a second zone which is an evaporization and vaporizing zone, a temperature of about 900.degree. C. is maintained to in a third zone, which is the final combustion zone and a temperature less than 900.degree. C. is maintained in a fourth zone which is a sintering zone. Additional air is supplied to the combustion zones 1 through the side walls of the combustion chamber. A dividing wall is disposed above the grate over which the hot combustion gases are conducted to a discharge opening so that heat is transferred to the dividing wall for radiation back onto the waste material on the grate.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for the continuous determination of the dust content of flowing media with the isokinetic flow sampling with the separation of the dust or aerosols by cake filtration on a filter and the measurement of the pressure drop at the filter to determine its degree of clogging. To this end the time cycle of the quantity of dust separated on the filter is determined by the measurement of the pressure loss at the filter of an isokinetically operating sampling system. To find the dust load, this quantity of dust is related to the partial quantity of gas extracted isokinetically during the period concerned.

    摘要: In a method for the continuous surveillance of the poison content of exhaust gases containing particulate material such as exhaust gases of large furnaces or waste incinerators, a sampling stream is continuously drawn from the exhaust gas stream through a suction line at a rate which corresponds to the exhaust gas stream flow rate, the sampling gas stream is passed through a cyclone in which any coarse particulate material is removed from and collected in a storage container, whereupon the sampling gas stream is passed through fine filter units in which fine particles are removed, a partial gas stream drawn from the particle free sample gas is passed through washing columns in which poisonous gases are washed out of the gas and dissolved in the washing liquid and from an analysis of the coarse and fine particulate material and the washing liquid, a poison distribution standard is determined whereupon for a period of time only coarse particulate material is collected and the poison content of the exhaust gas is then determined therefrom on the basis of the poison distribution standard.

    摘要: In a process for injecting a radioactive sample of a substance into a reaction vessel, the sample is first enclosed in a first container in which it is irradiated, and then the first container with sample is placed in a second container which is separated from the reaction vessel by way of a closed valve. The second container is heated, and the sample is then conveyed out of the containers into the reaction vessel through the valve which is opened. The sample is enclosed within the first container by plugs or is frozen therein for which purpose the first container may possibly by put into intermediate storage in a storage container. An apparatus comprises the first container for receiving the sample, to be arranged and fixed within the second heatable pressure-resistant container which can be communicated with the reaction vessel through a valve.
