摘要:
According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a system for removing matter from a filtering device includes a gas pressurization assembly. An element of the assembly is removably attachable to a first orifice of the filtering device. The system also includes a vacuum source fluidly connected to a second orifice of the filtering device.
摘要:
The activity and durability of a zeolite lean-burn NOx catalyst can be increased by loading metal cations on the outer surface of the zeolite. However, the metal loadings can also oxidize sulfur dioxide to cause sulfate formation in the exhaust. The present invention is a method of suppressing sulfate formation in an exhaust purification system including a NOx catalyst. The NOx catalyst includes a zeolite loaded with at least one metal. The metal is selected from among an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, a lanthanide metal, a noble metal, and a transition metal. In order to suppress sulfate formation, at least a portion of the loaded metal is complexed with at least one of sulfate, phosphate, and carbonate.

摘要:
A filter assembly is provided for an exhaust treatment device. The filter assembly has an inlet flow member and an outlet flow member. The filter assembly also has a particulate filtration medium configured to remove particulate matter from an exhaust flow. The filter assembly further has at least one catalyzed filtration medium in contact with the particulate filtration medium. The catalyzed filtration medium has a porosity greater than the particulate filtration medium.
