摘要: The invention relates to a method for regenerating a particle filter (74) in an exhaust system (60) of a motor vehicle (10) having an internal combustion engine (12). Here, for a temperature increase to a temperature (T) required for the regeneration of the particle filter (74), a sorption agent container (102) of a fuel tank (22) of the motor vehicle (10) is purged, and the fuel vapours (24) retained in the sorption agent container (102), in particular an activated carbon filter, are supplied directly or indirectly to the exhaust system (60) upstream of the particle filter (74). By means of an exothermic conversion of the fuel vapours (24) in the exhaust system (60) upstream of the particle filter (74), the exhaust-gas temperature (T) can be increased without the need for engine-internal measures for increasing the exhaust-gas temperature.

摘要: There is provided a hybrid vehicle comprising a mode selection device configured to select one drive mode among a plurality of drive modes according to a user's operation. The plurality of drive modes include a first drive mode in which the hybrid vehicle is driven with power from a motor with stopping rotation of an engine and a second drive mode in which the hybrid vehicle is driven with rotation of the engine. On satisfaction of filter regeneration conditions that an accumulated amount of particulate matter accumulated on a filter is equal to or greater than a predetermined accumulated amount and that a temperature of the filter is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature, the hybrid vehicle is driven in the second drive mode even when the first drive mode is selected by the mode selection device.

摘要: A method for regenerating a particulate filter in an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine. In a normal operation, the internal combustion engine is operated at a stoichiometric air/fuel ratio. To regenerate the particulate filter, it is provided that the air/fuel ratio be adjusted toward lean, and, at the same time, that the combustion in the combustion chambers of the internal combustion engine be stabilized by suitably adapting the ignition energy, the duration of ignition, and/or the ignition frequency, to prevent misfires and the associated uncontrolled entrainment of unburned fuel into the exhaust system. The inventive method for regenerating the particulate filter makes possible a more rapid and lower-emission regeneration of a particulate filter. Also, an internal combustion engine having an exhaust system and a control unit that is adapted for implementing a method according to the present invention.

摘要: When an output of a braking force to a driving shaft is needed, and a needed braking force can be output by regenerative drive of the second motor, the engine self-sustainably operates, the regenerative drive of the second motor is performed to cause the second motor to output the needed braking force to the driving shaft. When the needed braking force cannot be output by the regenerative drive of the second motor, the needed braking force is output to the driving shaft by the regenerative drive of the second motor and motoring of the engine that performs fuel cut using the first motor. When a filter regeneration condition is established, an allowable input electric power is set to be lower than that of when the filter regeneration condition is not established.

摘要: A hybrid vehicle includes: an engine for traveling in which a filter that removes particulate matter is attached to an exhaust system; a motor configured to generate a driving force for the hybrid vehicle; and an electronic control unit configured to restart injection of a fuel into the engine when a needed output of the engine reaches a threshold or higher while the injection of the fuel into the engine is stopped. The electronic control unit is configured to, when a filter regeneration condition that an accumulation amount of the particulate matter on the filter is equal to or more than a predetermined accumulation amount and a temperature of the filter is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature is established, set the threshold to be higher than a threshold set when the filter regeneration condition is not established.

摘要: An object is to prevent a wrong diagnosis from being made in an abnormality diagnosis apparatus for an exhaust gas purification system including a filter and a PM sensor. After sensor regeneration is performed, the application of voltage to the PM sensor is started, and thereafter abnormality diagnosis of the PM sensor is performed based on whether or not a signal is output from the PM sensor. Abnormality diagnosis of the filter is performed based on whether or not the output value of the PM sensor reaches a predetermined abnormality criterion value. If the output value of the PM sensor reaches the predetermined abnormality criterion value before a predetermined diagnosis completion time after the abnormality diagnosis of the PM sensor, the filter is diagnosed as abnormal, and the application of voltage to the PM sensor is stopped at that time.

摘要: An exhaust purification system includes a NOx reduction catalyst which is provided on an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine, a SOx purging control module for executing a SOx purging control for restoring the NOx reduction catalyst from sulfur poisoning by increasing a temperature of the exhaust gas to a first target temperature at which SOx are desorbed through an injection system control to increase a fuel injection amount, a prohibition module for prohibiting an execution of the SOx purging control according to an operating state of the internal combustion engine, and a temperature retention mode control module for executing a temperature retention mode control for maintaining the temperature of the exhaust gas at a second target temperature which is lower than the first target temperature by controlling the fuel injection amount during a period of time during which the SOx purging control is prohibited.

摘要: Methods for evaluating a soot quantity accumulated in a selective catalytic reduction wash-coated particulate filter (SCRF) of an exhaust gas treatment system are provided, and include injecting reductant proximate the SCRF, determining one or more mapping values, computing a correction value of a soot quantity using a map correlating the one or more mapping values, detecting an apparent soot burning operating temperature, and correcting an estimated value of the soot quantity using the correction value in order to obtain an evaluated value of the soot quantity. The one or more mapping values can include a reductant injection quantity value, a NOx quantity value, a temperature value, and a mass flow value of an exhaust gas. The apparent soot burning operating temperature can comprise a temperature at which a ΔP across the SCRF improperly implies an actual soot burning. Further provided are apparatuses for performing the disclosed methods.
