摘要: A circulation valve includes: an outer tubular sleeve telescopically mounted at its end over a tubular mandrel; a fluid passage between sleeve and the mandrel, the fluid passage providing fluid communication between the inner bore of the valve and its outer surface; a dual knife seal assembly to control flow out of the fluid flow path through the fluid passage, the dual knife seal assembly including a first annular knife seal edge and land that seal up when the sleeve and mandrel are in a fully axially compressed position and a second annular knife seal edge and land that seal up when the sleeve and mandrel are pulled into a fully in tension position; and, a J-slot position indexing mechanism including a slot and a key to guide movement of the sleeve and the mandrel between the fully in tension position and the fully compressed position. The circulation valve is employed in a wellbore treatment assembly and methods.

摘要: A memory controller is for controlling access to a memory device of the type having a non-uniform access timing characteristic. An interface receives transactions issued from at least one transaction source and a buffer temporarily stores as pending transactions those transactions received by the interface that have not yet been issued to the memory device. The buffer maintains a plurality of ordered lists (having a number of entries) for the stored pending transactions, including at least one priority based ordered list and at least one access timing ordered list. Each entry being associated with one of the pending transactions, and ordered within its priority based ordered list based on the priority indication of the associated pending transaction. Arbitration circuitry performs an arbitration operation during which the plurality of ordered lists are referenced so as to select a winning transaction to be issued to the memory device.

摘要: An assembly and method for coupling the rotor of a vehicle pedal assembly to the shaft of a vehicle pedal assembly. In one embodiment, the rotor includes a collar with an interior surface defining a plurality of slots and the shaft includes a distal neck which extends into the collar of the rotor. A weld horn is inserted into the collar and into contact with the neck of the shaft for melting a portion of the neck and causing the material of the molten neck to flow into the slots for securing the rotor to the shaft.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a method for detecting abnormal lymphocytes said method comprising detecting an amount or expression of the FOXP2 gene in lymphocytes in a sample, wherein an increased amount or expression of the FOXP2 gene in said lymphocytes indicates the presence of abnormal lymphocytes. Additionally, the invention concerns a method for detecting or assessing a condition associated with the presence of abnormal lymphocytes. The methods of the invention may also be useful for diagnosing myeloma or MGUS or for determining the prognosis for patients with lymphoma, myeloma or MGUS. The severity of bone disease or bone colonisation of tumours may also be able to be predicted. Further, treatment of conditions associated with the presence of abnormal lymphocytes using an agent which inhibits FOXP2 expression and/or FOXP2 activity is provided. An antibody which binds to the N-terminus of FOXP2 has also been developed.

摘要: A system is disclosed for customizing a geographic location index based on user preferences. The system obtains geographic data provided by a user and generates a customized geographic region based on the obtained geographic data. The system generates relationship data corresponding to the new customized geographic region. The system updates the geographic location index based on the new customized geographic region and corresponding relationship data. Thereafter, on-line content may be delivered to an audience associated with the new customized geographic region, thereby allowing the user, such as an advertiser or publisher, to define targeting regions that are optimal to their specific business environment.
