Abstract:
An intermittent rotating machine for filling capsules with pharmaceutical products is provided. The machine consists of a conveying wheel having a group of pockets distributed according to at least two mutually parallel rows and a feeding device for feeding a capsule into each pocket. The feeding device has a hopper for containing the capsules, at least two rows of extraction channels of the capsules from the hopper, and a plurality of orienting channels adapted to transfer each capsule from the respective extraction channel to the relative pocket. Each oriental channel is provided with at least two respective inlet portions, which are aligned to two extraction channels of two different rows, and are limited by respective bottom walls that are mutually parallel and distinct.
Abstract:
In a continuous machine for filling containers with a product, each container is fed along a given path in time with a relative metering device, which withdraws the product from a tank, feeds the withdrawn product into the container, and has a piston moved with respect to a cylinder by an actuating device having a tappet, which is carried by the piston and maintained contacting a cam by a pneumatic push assembly.
Abstract:
In a continuous machine for filling containers with at least one powdered product, each container is fed along a path phased with a corresponding metering device, which transfers the product from a tank to the container, and has a cylinder and a piston axially movable under the bias of corresponding tappets engaged in corresponding cams; the cam of the piston having a horizontal segment, which keeps the piston on the upper surface of the product during the insertion of the cylinder into the product itself, and whose vertical position is selectively controlled according to a height of the product in the tank.
Abstract:
In an embodiment of a continuously-operating machine for filling containers with at least one granular product, each container is fed along a given path in time with a relative metering device, which withdraws the product from a tank, feeds the withdrawn product into the container, and has a metering cylinder defined at the bottom by a piston which moves, along the metering cylinder, to and from a feed position in which to feed the product in the metering cylinder to a drop chute for unloading the product into the relative container; the piston having a cam follower which is maintained contacting a cam by a pneumatic push assembly.
Abstract:
An orienting assembly for medicinal capsules; the orienting assembly being characterized by having a rotary drum having seats, each for housing a top or bottom shell oriented in one of two opposite spatial directions; and by having a nozzle for generating compressed air jets, so that, if the top or bottom shell is oriented with the convexity facing the nozzle, the initial position of the top or bottom shell remains unchanged; whereas, if the top or bottom shell is oriented with the concavity facing the nozzle, the top or bottom shell is inverted by the compressed air jet generated by the nozzle; the invention also relating to a supply and orienting unit featuring the above orienting assembly.
Abstract:
A drug weighing method presenting the steps of feeding an orderly succession of drugs to a capacitive sensor; determining the weight of each drug by means of the capacitive sensor; periodically weighing a number of drugs in the succession by means of a precision scale; and periodically calibrating the capacitive sensor on the basis of the directly determined drug weights.
Abstract:
Apparatus for dosing powdery or granulated materials in capsules, or the like. The apparatus comprises an engine associated with a transducer controlling chuting means. The engine imparts to the chuting means movements which are proportional to an electric signal controlled by an electronic control unit. The movements of the chuting means, together with the regulation of the spatial position assumed by the chuting means, are such to accurately dose the powdery or granulated material in the bases of the capsules.
Abstract:
A machine for filling bottles with solid forms of pharmaceutical products is provided with a conveying device for continuously moving forward a sequence of bottles along a given path, and a vibrating distribution plate, which is mounted along the path itself so as to continuously rotate around its own longitudinal axis, and has a plurality of feeding channels, each of which is wound in a helix around and along said longitudinal axis, and is moved forward in phase with a corresponding bottle to feed a given number of solid forms in the bottle itself.
Abstract:
An intermittent rotating machine for filling capsules with pharmaceutical products is provided with a conveying wheel having a plurality of pockets each defined by an upper seat adapted to receive and keep a cap of a relative capsule and by a lower seat placed beneath the upper seat to receive and keep a bottom of the capsule itself; each upper seat being radially mobile between an advanced position, wherein the upper seat is vertically aligned with the relative lower seat, and a retracted position, wherein the upper seat and the relative lower seat are vertically mutually offset.
Abstract:
In an intermittent rotating machine for filling capsules with pharmaceutical products, each capsule is opened in a respective pocket of a conveying wheel, is filled with a pharmaceutical product, is closed and is finally released from the pocket itself; a supporting block fitted above the conveying wheel defining an upper stopping device for stopping the capsules during the closing thereof, and further defining an upper diverting device for moving the capsules outside the conveying wheel, and supporting a sucking pneumatic device for cleaning the pockets.
