    Abstract: A liquid tank device comprises a tank housing for storing a liquid within a tank volume inside of the tank housing, whereby the tank housing comprises at least one conduit opening that can be connected in a liquid-tight manner to at least one conduit for the liquid such that the liquid can be supplied to or removed from the tank volume within the tank housing through the conduit opening. A method for warning of and avoiding critical operating conditions of a liquid tank device comprises the detection of a tilting of the tank housing by means of a tilt detection device. The tank volume is shut off from the at least one conduit by means of a closing device if a tilt information from the tilt detection device exceeds a preset tilt value, resulting in avoiding further flow of liquid into or from the tank volume through the at least one conduit after detecting the tilting of the tank housing.

    Abstract: A device for forming a liquid treatment apparatus includes a main part, a receiving part including a cavity for receiving a connecting head of a replaceable liquid treatment cartridge having at least one port in liquid communication with an interior of the liquid treatment cartridge. The receiving part is journalled for movement between a first and a second position with respect to the main part. The head is insertable into and retractable from the cavity in the first position. The liquid treatment cartridge is lockable to the device by at least moving the receiving part with the inserted connecting head into the second position. The movement includes a component corresponding to an intrinsic rotation in a plane parallel to a direction of insertion. The movement further includes at least a component corresponding to a displacement of the receiving part relative to the main part.

    Abstract: A hot water heating device includes a heating chamber with a water inlet for feeding water into the heating chamber and with a water outlet for removing hot water from the heating chamber. The steam bubble retention device includes an intake duct with an intake opening and with a muzzle opening that runs into the suction opening of the outlet duct, whereby a cross-sectional area of the intake opening of the intake duct is larger than the cross-sectional area of the suction opening of the outlet duct.

    Abstract: A filter cartridge, in particular gravity-operated filter cartridge, having a body portion with at least one water outlet and a head portion with at least one water inlet and at least one air outlet, the head portion being arranged on top of the body portion, the body portion and the head portion together forming a housing with an inner volume, the head portion having a lower rim defining a bottom opening of the head portion, the filter cartridge further having a mesh located in the inner volume and attached to the head portion along the lower rim, the mesh separating the inner volume into an upper volume defined by the mesh and the head portion and a lower volume defined by the mesh and the body portion, treatment media being arranged in the lower volume. In order to improve the flow characteristics the filter cartridge has at least one holding-down device for the mesh, the holding-down device being movable from a standby position into an active position, in which the holding-down device is located at least partially between the mesh and the bottom opening.
