摘要: An embodiment of this disclosure provides a liquid treatment device, provided at a carbon block used for post-treating a liquid treated by the carbon block. The liquid treatment device includes: a housing; a cover; a sealing portion; a lower treatment unit; and an upper treatment unit. The liquid treatment device and the carbon block may be detachably mounted mutually, thereby enabling the liquid treatment device to be replaced independent of the carbon block. Furthermore, the liquid treatment device includes an upper treatment unit and a lower treatment unit, and a liquid inlet is provided in the housing of the liquid treatment device, thereby making distribution of the liquid flow in the carbon block more uniform.

The cartridge member is provided with an engaging portion detachably engaging with an end portion of the case member, and the case member is provided with an engagement portion to be engaged with the engaging portion provided for the cartridge member.

摘要: A composite filter apparatus includes a container with a receiving space, and top and bottom openings communicated with the receiving space. A filter member includes a filter core in the receiving space, a blocking member on a top end of the filter core, and a retainer plate on a bottom end of the filter core. The receiving space is divided by the blocking member into an upper receiving space that communicates the top opening of the container, and a lower receiving space that surrounds the filter core and that communicates the bottom opening. Activated carbon particles are filled in the upper and lower receiving spaces.

摘要: Systems and methods of eliminate filter air locks by maintaining a constant water table at the water head layer of the filter. The constant water table eliminates air locks in the filter as the filter drains. Water flows from the water head layer through a filtration medium in a filter cartridge, and the filtered water is output from a water outlet at the top of the cartridge. For a water table retention filter, where the water (or other liquid) being filtered, is re-directed to the top of the filter to the water head layer to avoid drawing air into the filter. Unfiltered water drains down the center of the filter to the water head layer and then flows up through the filter and is directed out near or at the top of the filter.

The filter bed has a mixture of anionic and cationic ion exchange resins. At least one filter element (16), designed as a flow guide device, enables the diversion of the fluid from a radial to an axial flow direction (18) or vice versa.

摘要: A method for dispersing an oil additive into an oil passing through a filter, the method comprising: filling a first cavity of an additive cartridge with an additive; locating the additive cartridge within a housing of the filter, the additive cartridge being located within a flow path through the filter, the additive cartridge having a second cavity without any additive disposed therein, the second cavity defining a first fluid path through the additive cartridge and the oil must pass through the second cavity in order to exit the filter; and metering the additive through an opening in the additive cartridge, the opening providing a second fluid path into the additive cartridge.

摘要: An improved oil conditioning filter, for use with an internal combustion engine, includes a mechanically active filter element and a chemically active filter element having a reactive basic conditioner therein. The reactive basic conditioner is provided to counteract acidic combustion products in lubricating oil in an internal combustion engine. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the chemically active conditioning agent is provided in a plurality of pellets disposed within the oil filter housing. The pellets may be bonded together to form an integral porous filter element having spaces defined between the pellets thereof. The pellets are made of a mixture including a polymeric binder and the chemically active conditioning agent, in a defined weight ratio and in a narrow range of particle sizes. The chemically active filter element reacts with acids present in the oil to form a product which may be filtered out of the oil. The pellets are made either by a hot extrusion process or by a solvent process.
