A process for the preparation of diazo pigment mixtures, which comprises condensing 2 mol of an azocarboxylic acid chloride of formula ##STR1## with 1 mol of a mixture of diamines of formulae ##STR2## at a molar ratio of II:III:IV from 0-30:5-60:40-95,the condensation and isolation of the product obtained being carried out by customary methods.The diazo pigment mixtures so obtained are distinguished by high color strength and chroma.

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of synergistic pigment mixtures by mixing solutions of at least two pigments solubilized by introducing carbamate groups, and subsequently precipitating the mixture in pigment form by subjecting said mixture to a thermal, photolytic or chemical treatment, either before or after incorporation in the substrate to be pigmented.

The invention relates to mixed crystals of 1,4-diketopyrrolo�3,4-c!pyrroles, consisting of 1 mol each of two different compounds of formulae ##STR1## as well as single-phase solid solutions of two different compounds of formulae I and II, wherein the diketopyrrolopyrrole having the smaller geometrical constitution is present in an amount of 53 to 70 mol %. A and B are as defined in claim 1. The novel mixed crystals as well as the novel solid solutions are admirably suited for pigmenting organic material of high molecular weight.

A process for producing a granulate of difficultly fusible additives for plastics, particularly of pigments, by thermal tumbling granulation, which process comprises mixing the additive in powder form with a granulating auxiliary which softens between 30.degree. and 200.degree. C. and which has a particle size of 0.1-2.0 mm; and subjecting this mixture to a gentle rotary motion, with heating by means of a source of heat being simultaneously applied at least until softening of the granulating auxiliary commences.
