Radiation pattern of LEDs may be changed by refractive-reflective optics or by convex lenses. Convex lenses may be hemispheres, other planoconvex shapes, concavo-convex shapes, or other shapes. Curved surfaces on any lenses may be spherical or aspheric. Ballast to operate the LEDs from line voltage AC or low voltage DC. Work light may contain batteries. The work light may be mounted on a stand. May have accessory mount. May have charging station. May have a paging transmitter to activate a paging receiver in work light. May have openings for heat transfer from heatsink to ambient air external to light.

摘要： A brake handle assembly for actuating a brake of a wheeled walker of the type having a handle bar member slidably received for telescopic movement within the upper end of a leg member, a wheel rotatably mounted at the lower end of said leg member, a brake mounted at the lower end said leg member, and an elongated brake rod disposed within said handle bar and leg member for moving said brake into and out of braking engagement with said wheel. The brake handle assembly provides a linear pull non-cable brake actuation and is manually operable between a neutral position, a raised brake actuating position and a depressed brake locking position.

摘要： The present invention relates to a mobility aiding device, such as a walker, a wheelchair, a transport chair, a shower seat or a rollator, for use in providing support to injured or ailing persons during activity or movement. According to the present invention a solid two-piece seating platform is provided with a structural support for distributing the weight of the user to the frame. Furthermore, the two pieces of the seating platform are inter-hinged, enabling the entire device to fold up into a storage position. A lock is provided for maintaining the structural support in place, and a handle is provided for facilitating folding the device into the storage position.

摘要： A wheeled walker convertible to a transport chair. The walker has a strap-type backrest that is pivotally attached to the upper end of the handlebars. The backrest can be placed in a forward position when the apparatus is used as a walker and the user wishes to rest in a rearward facing sitting position and in a rearward position when the apparatus is used as a transport chair and the user sits in a forward facing position and is propelled by a care-giver. A novel braking system locates the brake actuating linkage inside the leg and handlebar members and provides accommodates extension height adjustment of the handlebars. A brake lever system providing a linear pull non-cable brake actuation is also disclosed.
