Abstract:
A controlled release container including a base. The base has a flexible diaphragm movable between a relaxed position and a depressed position. In the depressed position the flexible diaphragm reduces an interior volume of the container to dispense a dosage amount of material stored within the container. The dosage amount directly corresponds to an internal volume of the container displaced by moving the flexible diaphragm to the depressed position.
Abstract:
A system for simultaneously forming and filling a container having a mold cavity defining an internal surface and adapted to accept a preform. The system includes a servo pressure system having an inlet and an outlet operable to output fluid, such as a liquid commodity, and a blow nozzle receiving the fluid from the servo pressure source and transferring the fluid at a pressure into the preform thereby urging the preform to expand toward the internal surface of the mold cavity and creating a resultant container, wherein the fluid remains within the container as an end product and wherein the servo pressure system and the blow nozzle output the fluid at a rate sufficient to fully form and fill the container in less than about 0.5 seconds.
Abstract:
A patient support including a propulsion device for moving the patient support. The patient support includes a propulsion system having a propulsion device operably coupled to an input system.
Abstract:
A vocal and/or instrumental training system can include a sound storage database having a plurality of model sound recordings, such as recordings of various wild game calls, stored therein. A user can select one of the model sound recordings to emulate, and provide audio input, such as the user's vocal performance of a wild game call, in an attempt to emulate the selected model sound recording. The audio input can be received by an audio input device, and recorded by a recording device. Audio characteristics, such as pitch, tone, timbre, cadence, rhythm, beat and/or amplitude, of the recorded audio input can be compared with the corresponding audio characteristics of the selected model sound recording. Results of the comparison can be graphically displayed on a sound graph.
Abstract:
A mold device and a method related thereto for forming a plastic container from a preform. The mold device comprises a mold defining a mold cavity, an optional stretch initiation rod system for engaging an interior portion of the preform to define a stretch initiation area, and a centrally disposed pressure source positionable within the preform for introducing a pressurized fluid.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for forming a plastic container is provided. The method includes disposing a preform into a primary mold cavity and applying pressurized air to urge the preform to conform to the shape of the primary mold cavity to form a primary article. The primary article is then permitted to shrink to a predetermined volume. The method can further include exposing the primary article to an internal vacuum to facilitate shrinking to a predetermined volume. The method further includes disposing the primary article into a second mold cavity and applying pressurized air to urge the primary article to conform to the second mold cavity to form an intermediate article. Finally, at least a portion of the intermediate article is trimmed off to form a final container.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for setting a cycle date for a financial account. For instance, a cycling module may be provided to set a default cycle date for cycling the financial account, and an account monitoring module may be provided to determine whether a transaction is posted on the financial account within a first predetermined period before the default cycle date. If a transaction is posted on the financial account within the first predetermined period, then the cycling module sets a new cycle date. The new cycle date can be set to a date that follows the transaction post date by a second predetermined period. Alternatively, the new cycle date may be set to other dates, such as a date corresponding to the next qualifying date.
Abstract:
A patient-support apparatus includes a mattress assembly supported on a frame, the mattress assembly including a coverlet configured to provide low-airloss therapy to a patient supported on the patient-support apparatus. The patient-support apparatus is articulable to a number of positions and includes a control network which is responsive to movement of portions of the frame to alter operational parameters of the frame and mattress assembly.
Abstract:
A patient support including a traction device for powered movement of the patient support. The traction device includes a storage position and a use position.
Abstract:
An extensible framework for object oriented programming comprises a reception component that receives a customized strategy relating to composing a target object. An implementation component automatically implements the customized strategy to compose the target object based at least in part upon context associated with the target object. The extensible framework can further comprise a context component that determines the context, including context of an application associated with the target object, existing objects associated with the target object, and relationships between the existing objects.
